"Great atmosphere, packed but rightfully so. Staff is very friendly and checks up on you throughout your meal! Restrooms are very clean and nicely decorated. This place gives you a feeling of being at home! There is not a long wait on the meal. Breakfast was delicious and lots of options to choose from. We had the 2, two, too with French toast! The French toast was soft on the inside with a light crisp on the outside! Perfectly cooked! Eggs and bacon were cooked exactly as requested! We also ordered the classic chicken fried steak which was also delicious; the gravy was just the right amount and it came with melt in your mouth red potatoes and eggs cooked as requested. We indulged in mimosas ordering the JJ juice and mr. ruby's, very sweet but good and many options to choose from. We definetly recommend this place and will be a returning customers! A hidden gem in the neighborhood!"

"We called them to see if that had any available seats. We were told to come down and they would accommodate us. We drove there with our 2 small kids, checked in with the female hostess who told us “ sorry, we cannot accommodate you”. This is a terrible way to treat your patrons. I will never support such a terrible establishment. Persians are know for wonderful hospitality, this restaurant, owner, workers have no clue what that means. If you do not have any space, just say so, don’t make us drive out there with 2 small kids, to only be turned away. Absolutely terrible. I never write reviews. I would give you zero stars if I could."

"Brought my daughter and mother here today for a little dessert for her birthday It is so cute inside. We ordered hot chocolate and some macaroons.I had the Oaxican hot chocolate 8 oz 6.25. they offer you either mini marshmallows or whip cream or both. I had both. The chocolate is very good. I did not taste any spice. I really enjoyed the flavor of it. Very rich and decadent. I definitely would order this again. My mom had the regular hot chocolate and loved it and my daughter the rose chocolate. She really loved it. We ordered 6 macarons which came to 15.00Pumpkin pie... Amazing flavorSalty Caramel... Good but very sweetChocolate ... Very goodSnicker doodle... Very goodThey have a light snap on the outside. The middle amazing. I have also tried their pastries.. they are absolutely yummy. "just one of the best experiences we had! we had lucky enough to sit valentineday evening dinner reservations for the cooks table from the moment we went, we were impressed by everything. staff: very friendly, attentive, 10/10! each individual person has made us feel at home and everyone seemed happy to be there what is a hard-found! chef chris's team were all amazing with him crafts. he explained every court that the whole team was synchronized when every court was out. chris gave a great explanation from each court informed us how he came to the creation of every court etc. we have eaten many “good restaurants”, but that was something else. every court that came out, we caught ourselves saying, "This is the best and so I have ever had" my favorite was the otopus. I had never cooked anything like it- with perfection! localis is an experience for me, not only “Dinner”. it's expensive if they're looking for dinner only, but if they ever want to have a 12-course dinner experience from an amazing cook, localis is probably the best place to do it in sacramento. will be back in future definitiw! thanks to the whole staff!"

"Update: I've returned here since my initial review and every visit has been excellent. Definitely a must try in Midtown! Really really impressed. Mind you I came here for the Valentines Day dinner, so my experience is a little different but I definitely plan to return. Gluten free accommodations were off the hook! So many options I felt like I had no limits. The food- incredibly thoughtful. Not sweet, and for me just right given that it was a 4 course meal. Portions were actually very good, by the end I was stuffed. The patio area is absolutely beautiful and one of the shining gems of this restaurant, we sat just near the glass because it was cold and we were staring out at it all night! Indoor is beautiful as well. The service was top notch. I have no real complaints here, it’s a little pricey but I knew this walking in. Loved every minute and it felt like an experience."
