"Central is a truly outstanding fine dining experience. The food—a delicate fusion of southern tradition and worldly culinary flavors—is absolutely scrumptious. While the menu rotates seasonally, the mainstays—like the beef short-rib—are there to stay for good reason. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The signature cocktails are everything you could ask for; their sazerac is outstanding and they might just make the best old fashioned in Montgomery. The staff are attentive, friendly, and willing to accommodate. Definitely make a reservation; however, the bar seating is often a good last-minute option for a small party."

"This was my first visit to the restaurant and my husband's third. I was not impressed with the food or service considering the price. The experience was mediocre at best. The staff made an effort to provide a fine dining experience, but they lacked personality and seemed robotic. This restaurant may be more suitable for business dinners or high-class events rather than a younger crowd. We probably won't be coming back. Our order was incorrect and we were given the wrong bill, with a significant price difference. Our waitress seemed distressed, even though we were the only customers there. Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere were rated as 3 out of 5 stars. Meal type: Dinner. Price per person: $100+"

"Amazing lunch food, incredible owner. Was like being served by family. Hot bar had three meats, rice, black beans and several vegetables. The homemade hot sauce and pickled vegetables were excellent. I would return and recommend to others. Only thing to point out: we didn't know the hot bar process nor the price. We didn't know if a second helping was included. Thus, we were a bit surprised that the cost was $34 for two people with water."

"LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! All the food I've ever had here is some of the best! Service is friendly and pretty fast for how busy they are! Definitely one of my family's favorite spots to eat! Kid-friendliness: My two year old (and 32 year old husband loves how we can just color right on the tables and the free arcade game they have! "I ordered 3 wings and 3 sides. Plus I ordered a pork chop sandwich. It was my first time ordering from them, and I felt the prices were expensive. My bill for both was 25 dollars and change, plus the drink is NOT included! I thought the greens were too sweet, not enough smoked turkey flavor. I thought the dressing was also sweet, and should be more savory, the candied yams were clearly from the can, didn’t like the flavoring. The chicken was ok, but I think the oil was old! The customer service was nice, and the restaurant was clean! Unfortunately, I don’t think I will go back!"
