Chicken Express - Menu

The food was delicious, and my orders have always been correct. I would highly recommend this place. I only used the drive-thru, so I can't speak to the dining-in experience.

The Young man at the drive through was polite and helpful in ordering the food, and the drive through line moved at a decent time rate. The fried chicken rolls were good, didn't like the biscuits, and I had to go through the line twice to get mydrink, but it was still a good.

The staff is friendly. However, the food leaves much to be desired. The chicken was lean but primarily breaded, and the biscuits were rock hard. The mac and cheese had a peculiar taste, as if it had been boiled in asparagus water. The apple pies were bland and lacked flavor (and just to clarify, I don’t have COVID). We've visited Chicken Express twice now. Our first experience was excellent, and the food was delicious. However, this time, the person taking our order was rude and couldn't get it right. We specifically requested gravy without potatoes, which seemed to cause quite a hassle, and the staff member responded with an attitude. Unfortunately, even though we love the food here, we decided to leave due to the poor service.

The service was outstanding at Chicken Express. ? The people there went above and beyond what I expected. However, during our most recent visit, the person who took our order was rude and failed to get it right. I specifically requested gravy without the potatoes, and apparently, this was a big deal for the employee, who had a poor attitude toward us. I wanted to ask, if they close at 10, why do they stop serving chicken at 8? I drove 30 minutes to eat here, only to be told that if I wanted chicken, I would have to wait 20 minutes because it needs to be cooked to order. They also seem to prioritize the 8 o'clock closing time. Maybe it's my fault for expecting this to be more of a dining establishment. I apologize for the negative review, but after three disappointing visits, I felt I needed to say something.

We eat at Chicken Express more than any other place when we travel the 45 miles to Bartlesville. I really want to like it, but the food is rarely all hot. In fact, the only thing served that is guaranteed to be hot is the chicken livers... that will be 5minutes as we make them fresh. I would wait 10 or more minutes to get everything hot. Yesterday, the fish was old (verycommon), chicken strips lukewarm, corn nuggets cold. We watched when the crowd grew (1215 or so) hoping next time to come backwhen everything is hot. First off let me say the food is great but the customer service at the Bartlesville, Oklahoma location SUCKS! Constantly missing parts of an order, tonight they gave us the wrong call in order and we had to drive back and exchange it and all they did for our trouble was NOTHING!! No discount, nothing. When I asked if I could take the wrong order and donate it to a family I know in need they said no that they are required to throw it away.
