"My wife and I were visiting from Orlando area and decided to check out downtown.Valdosta. It was New Year’s Eve, but it was a Sunday. Our misguided plan was that we’d graze at a few different places in downtown and do a little bar hopping. Little did we know that downtown Valdosta would be a ghost town on a Sunday New Year’s Eve. But that’s OK. We found 306 North on Patterson and that’s all we needed. We showed up at 4p and they let us have drinks at the bar even though they didn’t really open until 5p. The drinks were done very well and not at all expensive at least compared to Central FL. Every food item we had was delicious. Chef sampler deviled eggs Fried Green Tomatoes Fried fish bites Whole Okra appetizer Spinach salad w/ bacon dressing Pan seared Sea Scallops dinner Chicken Picatta Yeah, it was New Year’s Eve so we literally pigged out. We sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the service. The restaurant is also smallish and very cozy. If you find yourself near this little gem, stop in and don’t be surprised if your experience far surpasses your expectations."

"Kind people, chill atmosphere, INCREDIBLE seafood. We had the blackened catfish, smashed potatoes, and dried green tomatoes, and the carrot cake. Everything was top notch. The fried green tomatoes alone warranted 5 stars, but every stage was progressively better at each stage. The catfish literally melted in my mouth. The flavor was strong, but not overpowering. The carrot cake tasted home made. Soft and fluffy with a decadent cream cheese icing and chopped walnuts topping. Atmosphere was a casual environment, but definitely appropriate for business casual small groups as well. The restaurant itself was easy to find with plenty of parking in a nice area of town."

"Dining at Giulio's was nothing short of therapeutic. I was immediately charmed by the ambience and decor of this family owned business; the atmosphere was attractive and cozy, the staff was warm and attentive, and the food was decadent and delicious. I ordered the branzino special, which literally made me do a happy dance as I ate it. The fish was cooked perfectly, the lemon butter sauce with capers was delightful, and I could have eaten a whole plate of the sauteed veggies that came with it. I got the lentil soup with my meal, and there was something so comforting about that cup of soup like somebody's grandma made it, and grandma is a classically trained chef. It not only tasted good, it felt good in my soul. I also had tiramisu for dessert, and it was one of the best tiramisu I've ever had. I was spoiled years ago by a French chef who made the best tiramisu of my life, and no tiramisu has ever satisfied me since then UNTIL NOW. I nearly licked the dish clean and asked for another. I loved every moment of my dining experience and cannot wait to return."

"I only gave 2 stars, versus one, because of how friendly our waitress was. Other than that the service was slow. The food was barely edible. Tasted burnt and had no flavor. The salsa tasted like tomatoes from a can. No flavor what so ever and almost on the soggy side. Our waitress never came back to offer a refill and the gentleman who brought the food out asked if we would like a refill. I won't be back to this restaurant any time soon."

"Literally the best food and best people in Valdosta.. to make a long story short I have an autistic little girl I came in there one afternoon she had a meltdown, and so did I. I was so embarrassed and overwhelmed, and from that point on, they took care of me, they made sure anytime I came that I didn’t have to bring her in. This made my life so much easier. I feel cared about. I felt like I mattered. Literally Jeb, Will, Brice, justice and many more.. just make my day..I am beyond grateful for such amazing people. And the food is always fresh and tasty."
