"A step above your usual Chinese take out place. Definitely more authentic. We ordered a bunch of dishes and some were better than others. We came on a weekday afternoon and all the dishes came out super quick within 5 minutes. Suspect some items were already cooked and were just reheated. What was really good was the sliced chicken with tender asparagus and the beef chow fun. Everything else was very underwhelming. The crispy flounder with black bean sauce was disappointing. Tasted like your regular frozen fish sticks that you get from the supermarket sautéed in black bean sauce. The white rice and brown rice were very hard. Not sure what happened there. Overall this place is decent for the area but definitely need some improvements."

The food was fantastic! The service was very quick. I highly recommend it, although it is on the pricey side.

Disappointing. Vegetable Rolls were soggy and chewy, not crispy, Shrimp with Lobster Sauce was watery and every Moo Shu pancake had a hole in the middle. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3

The Chinese food here is outstanding! It's perfect for those with a lower tolerance for spicy dishes, as it's not overly hot. Plus, there's a fantastic variety of options available, all at reasonable prices. I highly recommend it!

This is an excellent Chinese restaurant. I recommend the beef in garlic sauce, but everything here pretty good. The restaurant itself has a nice, upscale vibe and you are greeted by a giant fish tank when you walk into the main dining room. The also have lunch specials. I ordered takeout today and it was the most tasteless Chinese food I have ever had. It had no flavor and was very bland. Not only was it expensive, but the quality was also very disappointing. Overall, the service was for takeout and the meal was intended for dinner. The price per person was $30-50. I would rate the food as a 1 out of 5.

I dined at this restaurant with two friends who are from China and they mentioned that this is their top pick in the area. We tried the Sichuan dumplings which were excellent and the portion sizes were plentiful. The average cost per person was between $20 to $30. I would rate the food and service 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5.

The manager of this restaurant has a negative attitude towards Asian customers, specifically elderly ones who speak Cantonese. It is suggested that everyone avoid this establishment. The service rating for dining in during dinner is 2 out of 5, with a price range of $50-100 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere were all given a rating of 1 out of 5. View menu

While my friend and I went for lunch, there was a fairly group of poker came at the same time. Sadly, all attention from us got diverted to them!! Food was meh , service almost felt forced and atmosphere was just ok. Maybe I’ll go again just to c if it was one off thing. I have been there one time before and wasn’t impressed with the food and was trying out again 2nd time. Food: 3

I decided to try China Chalet based on a friend's recommendation, but I was disappointed with my experience. The vegetable rolls were the worst I've ever had, and the chicken with broccoli and mu shu pork were also lacking in flavor. Even the rice seemed bland. The only standout dish was the sweet and sour chicken, which was excellent. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, but overall, my meal was mediocre. I don't think I'll be returning to China Chalet in the future.
