"Surprisingly, this little Catonsville spot is not bad, not bad at all. I have ordered the spicy shrimp fried rice twice and must say have not been disappointed. The shrimp is not low quality and the seasoning is just right. The prices, of course, are cheap as this establishment is a humble, no-frills food joint that nonetheless offers satisfying dishes, does great business, and does so using a team of courteous, efficient clerks who seem quite conscientious. I did not care for the crab rangoon wantons, (for really fine dining, you'll pay much much more), but for a nice clean, tasty quick lunch or swell, easy dinner that won't break your pockets, this place will do just fine!"

Petty service. Order was messed up and came back the next day and she refused to give me what I didn’t receive.

Absolutely the best Chinese food around! The shrimp with broccoli is simply delicious, and even the fried crabmeat cheese wontons were fantastic.

Got beef yak and it was a bunch of nasty chewy mystery meat. Won't ever order that again. Took all the fake meat out and just had the yak that was good. View menu

Hands down the best Chinese in Baltimore, especially for the price. The pork lo mein is absolutely fantastic, hard to go back to anywhere else after having it here.

This is my favorite spot because they have consistently gotten my orders right. The wings are perfectly seasoned and not overcooked. The service is efficient and straightforward, and the place is clean and well-organized.

Vegan options. This is really a 3.5 because sometimes food is too greasy for me. You can ask for a vegetable version of many of their dishes with noodles or rice and add tofu. Service is usually quick and prices are reasonable. View menu

Absolutely delicious and my picture doesnt do enough justice. Everything arrived hot and tasty! Perfectly seasoned and the brocco has a great crunch. The big winner was the half and half with the lemon slice. My new go to for sure!

Food was really really hot, which was great. Good flavors. Bean Curd With Mixed Vegetable was wonderful. My first time eating fried rice in years and the Fresh Vegetable Fried Rice did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend to whoever is considering ordering from here. Go for it!

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
