"I apos;m leaving a review for people who are new to this restaurant. Just so you know, it apos;s not exactly the same as the Chinese food you get in the city. They have their own style and it is good. I grew up in Orem, UT and I was used to the Chinese food you get there. So at first, I wasn apos;t very fond of this restaurant, but it grew on me. The main thing I didn apos;t like is the egg drop soup. It reminds me of chicken vegetable soup, but without the chicken. My go to soup is the Hot Sour soup. I highly recommend this soup and it is especially helpful to eat if you have a cold. It apos;s SO good. Another recommendation I have is if you don apos;t like your vegetables too crunchy, just ask them to cook it a little longer to make it easier to chew. And they do swap out vegetables you don apos;t like for ones you do, just request it. This is a Chinese restaurant with something for everybody they have American food as well, so check out the full menu. I recommend the Sesame Chicken, General Tso apos;s chicken, Beef and brocolli, Fried Shrimp, Lo Mein. A suggestion for some people saying the food is bland (I believe they are referring to the stir frys) just order a side of pon pon sauce and pour it over your veggies and rice. It apos;s SO good! Always tip your waiter or delivery person. They have mouths to feed too."

The food we got was not good , we didn't eat, got a refund and left. We ordered Mongolian beef, but it was not that. We were told if we wanted something like that to order a different item on the menu. They use the same gravy slop on almost all the items. Food was decent, I expected a little more flavor or heat, but it may be a personal preference for spice. Serving sizes were good for the cost! Picking up my order, I felt bad for the woman at the front who was taking phone orders while the rest of the staff just stood at the back together talking. It took a while for her to finish on the phone, but she was able to find the order quickly, but still seemed flustered with the lack of help.

Im pretty sure Char Shu Chow Mein is noodles. Theres no noodles here. This is all vegetables. The meal tastes good but where are the noodles!? Google Chow Mein, its stir fried noodles. This is the second time now. I thought the first time was a mistake but now Ive given this a second chance and its just China Star. Ill be avoiding them going forward. This might be a minor thing but Im genuinely upset. I feel like my dinner is ruined for the night. The Chicken Fried Rice was good and so 1 good thing I suppose
