"We came down from Janesville, Minnesota for a Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. My ol lady and I got this absolutely phenomenal air bnb just outside of Smithsville, Mo. We decided to head out and see what town had to offer for the day, we stumbled onto a smoking competition! Upon further inspection the local smoke house was still open to the public. I didn’t even spend a total of $50 and both the ol lady and I walked out with a doggy bag. We had the 3 meat platter, brisket was spot on perfection, the smoked sausage was legit melt in your mouth divine, the ribs were the best I’ve ever had in my life, the cheesy bacon potatoes I legit would swim in that stuff!!! The ol lady and I don’t do much sauce but we tried it all, the bold was my favorite, she really liked the sweet one, she even said she regrets not carrying a purse, “that one woulda came home with us” she snickers as we walk out stuffed!!!! Service was 5 star quality! We’ll be back! God bless!"

Was a little skeptical at first. Tried it and was impressed. Not from Missouri so I don't like the bbq out here. This place was overall good. Went there to find out they couldn't take debit or credit cards cause their machine was downfor the time, so I was in the process of downloading venmo to pay. But not before one of the workers named Jeff took out some cash and told me not to worry about it, I gave them all of the cash I had on me to try and help. Great people, and good food. Classic small town BBQ/diner. We stopped in for an early dinner, and tried the pulled pork monster sandwich and good sides. The sauces were OK sauce is a matter of personal taste, and these were good, but not my faves. The sides were generous and tasty. The staff person was prompt and very friendly. I'd definitely go back if I'm back that way! Also We happened to be there on BOGO night don't know if that was a one time sale since they were closing early for Halloween, or a regular thing, but that was a pleasant surprise.
