I often stop by this deli when I take the LIRR to work. While it's a crucial stop for morning commuters, the staff lacks a sense of urgency. The food is good, but the service definitely needs improvement.

I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and was quite disappointed. The chicken was dry, and there was so much lettuce that it was spilling out. The addition of croutons didn’t help either; it just wasn’t to my liking. Overall, there was too much filler (lettuce and croutons) and not enough chicken.

In a time when over a million Americans have lost their lives to Covid, it’s concerning that this restaurant has no mask mandate. While it’s ultimately your choice, there are legal requirements in place for food service, including wearing masks and gloves. I observed several staff members with long hair that wasn’t tied back. I've ordered breakfast and lunch from this deli multiple times, and I can honestly say they pour a lot of love and care into their food. The sandwiches I've tried have always been well-made and exactly what I requested, with everything fresh and delicious. They genuinely care about what they serve their customers, and I really appreciate that. I highly recommend this deli to anyone looking for quality deli options—it's definitely the top spot in Mineola.

Good deli with lots of sandwiches. Staff was nice and there was a good selection of drinks and chips. I got the NCPD on a hero. It had roast beef, cheese, sauerkraut and mustard. It missed the mark in execution. The issue was that all the roast beef and cheese was on the outside of the hero and the inside, near the crease, was all sauerkraut. This led to very uneven bites, which made me sad. Maybe next time I'd get it on a roll to avoid this deadly trap.

I have to say that the price of the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich on a bun I ordered didn't match its size. Paying over $7 for a quick meal that was roughly the size of my palm was really disappointing, and I've definitely learned my lesson. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and pleasant. However, the price for such a small sandwich that didn't taste particularly good was quite off-putting. From now on, I think I'll stick to items that are more genuinely convenient, even if they are still overpriced. It seems like everything is overpriced these days. View menu
