"I 'm all for local Lincolnton business.. and love to give my loyalty here in town but honestly this place is dirty and the food is AT best just ok . wait staff can be friendly and down home one day, then moody the next even after always being tipped well. I 'm sure they have repeat customers but the only explanation for that as I can say is that some people 's standards are just not very high...as I say, I enjoy and love giving local hometown businesses my business, but for chuck wagon grill I will not waste my money. I 've tried practically everything on their menu and it 's all so so , nothing here for me to brag about, sorry just being honest. To each their own, but I will not return. There are far better restaurants (cleaner, better food quality, warm when food is supposed to be warm, less moody employees) in our little town of Lincolnton to go to. I say this as merely a customer... I have no vested interest in any one particular restaurant, meaning I have never worked at any restaurant, either in Lincolnton or elsewhere, nor do I have any friends or relatives who work in any restaurants. I just (expect) higher quality."

I recently ordered a take-out lunch from this restaurant and I was very impressed. The price per person was between $10 and $20, which I found to be reasonable. The food was excellent, I would give it a 5 out of 5. The service was also top-notch, I would rate it a 5 as well. I highly recommend trying the cheeseburger, tater tots, and salad from this place.

Chuckwagon has nasty food with nasty service the owner is very rude and refuses to fix the problem when we say something is wrong she even went as far as saying she would take our food back but would not return our money I would not recommend anyone wasting there time or money on this place we will never go back after the way we was treated Really really bad service and the food is nasty

The burgers are fantastic, especially with grilled onions, and while the service always comes with a smile, I do wish it was closer to home. Stepping back in time with an authentic atmosphere, this restaurant may not be the most aesthetically pleasing but the food never disappoints. The friendly servers are always a plus. I highly recommend trying the Superburger with Kartoffel wedges, as well as the delicious Philly cheese steak and daily specials. Despite being a hidden gem, this local spot deserves more recognition. Support local businesses and indulge in the tasty offerings they have to offer.

We were out for a motorcycle ride and I Googled Best Burgers near me. Chuckwagon Grill came up. It did not disappoint. I had the regular cheeseburger basket and my husband had the deluxe. The burgers were delicious although my husband's was well done and he had asked for medium. He still enjoyed it. They give you a mountain of fries with the baskets. My burger was missing the onion, but it was still good. My only real complaint was that all of the inside tables were dirty. I used some of my unsweet tea to desticky ours. We would go back, if in the neighborhood again.
