I had the extra crispy chicken for dinner and it was absolutely delicious. The meal cost $10–20 per person and was well worth it. The food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5 in my books. I ordered 20 pieces of regular, non-spicy chicken, but received 2 dark, greasy boxes that looked old and unappetizing. The chicken appeared to have been fried hours before and tasted bland, greasy, and not freshly cooked. Unfortunately, the $35 I paid for the chicken ended up in the trash, and I am surprised that this place is still in business.

I'm not sure if Church's is the top spot for fried chicken, but it's definitely my favorite. I love stopping by whenever I can. The Fresno location is nice, with friendly staff. While I didn't smell the fresh fried chicken like usual, it was still tasty. It wasn't as amazing as I remembered, but the store was clean and roomy. I would come back again for sure.

I arrived at the restaurant at 8:45pm, over an hour before closing time. I ordered a mixed family meal since my kids cannot eat spicy food. I was informed that I would have to wait 20 minutes for it to be cooked, so I agreed and paid. At 9pm, a Church's team member named Eric asked me if I still wanted the original chicken. I was surprised and asked why it hadn't been cooked yet. I explained that I needed the original chicken for my kids.
