Came back again during covid and was pleased to see they had a heated outdoor dining setup! It was warm enough to eat dinner outside even though it was in the low 40s, though I kept my parka on.

Great fried chicken and potato wedges. Huge portions at great prices. But I go for is the clam chowder, available only on Friday. Available in cup and bowl sizes. Thick and hearty, seasoned well, and full of clams. A LOT OF CLAMS. Absolutely delicious!

This is difficult…it pains me to say this but, I use to go to the old fryer tuck in beaverton close to 50 years ago and it was great. Now I live in the Philippines and made a trip back to Hillsboro and hear fryer tuck was back and had to try it. The bar was nice with a very friendly staff but the chicken left me disappointed. I don't know if chicken had evolved over 50 years or what but it was not very good…oh well. Life goes on. The fries were still good
