"We found exactly what we were looking for at this restaurant! The whole staff appeared to be enjoying themselves while working hard. They were super friendly and the food was great (our group tried about six dishes and every one was delicious). The atmosphere wasn't too loud, allowing us to easily hear each other talk. We especially loved the motif of keys throughout the restaurant. Unlike other places nearby that either turned us away for takeout or had strange smells, we visited Keyhole multiple times during our weekend trip because we enjoyed it so much. Shannon, in particular, provided excellent service."

"I returned to this restaurant today after six years. I had visited three times between 2015 and 2017, always on a Sunday. In the past, we never needed a reservation and had plenty of space in the dining hall. However, I was surprised by the 45-minute wait today without a reservation. I had never made a reservation before. The reason for my one-star review is the attitude of the front desk lady, who was rude. Despite the restaurant's popularity in recent years, politeness should never go out of style. I did not visit to steal or freeload; I simply wanted to dine."

"J pork was decent. J chicken was mostly bone and cartilage, and the j chicken burger was a sweet, red colored disaster. And the food was the high point... Went there three hours before closing... No plates, no silverware (a sit down meal from foam to go boxes and weird bamboo disposable cutlery no worries about cutting through the bottom the foam box). Waitress was kind of blunt and gruff. No curry chicken or fried chicken (they were done .... three hours before close). Two different music stations playing at the same time. Interior that was supposed to look bright and tropical but comes across like a fast food place. Food came out of the kitchen at three different times, not all at once. All this, for about $20 a person, average.Parking: Nothing close. You have to park a block or two away.Wheelchair accessibility: Street level accessibility."

"I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food tasted like it was homemade, and the portions were very generous. The service was excellent from the moment I walked in, with the hostess giving me a warm greeting and showing me their selection of homemade pies. I was seated quickly and my server, Christine, greeted me with a smile and took my drink order. The menu was extensive, making it hard to choose, but I finally decided on the hot turkey which was delicious. I was too full to try their pie, but I will definitely get some to go next time. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was positive. I definitely plan on going back. Next time, I'll remember to take a photo of my delicious meal!"

"Looked like a unique place to stop for lunch.. I have been to Mackinaw many times and always wanted to try it. The service was excellent. Very friendly and efficient. We sat in inside seating and the decor was simple but clean. I had the whitefish basket with 3 fair sized pieces of fish, a couple hush puppies, thin cut french fries and a side of coleslaw. The fries were so-so, maybe not fresh out of the fryer. Coleslaw was crisp but lacked much flavor. The fish, unfortunately, was just not what I was anticipating. Looking for a crispy battered piece, they were more of floured and into the fryer. Served hot but a little soft in texture. Could have used some kind of seasoning (spice) to make it a little more flavorful. Over all it was ok but I don't think I would be a repeat customer."
