Food and drinks here was an all time disappointment. It's unfortunate to not have anything good, not a drink. I really didn't think you could mess up a chipotle bowl cause I've made one at home it was easy and delicious, but this bowl was wet at the bottom and no flavors stood out.

Got the quarter chicken and purposefully got an avocado bowl as a side, since that was also a main menu item. Both were fantastic, and very worth the trip. The avocado bowl as a stand-alone was great and the chicken (I had Chipotle style) was a wonderful compliment. One of my favorite food places but recently the service has been absolutely terrible. Time and time again when ordering from an online delivery app they mess up the order. Prime example today, my order specifically said large corn casserole and instead they gave me a large order of rice. Not sure what is going on but I will definitely be finding another place to order from.

The food was so tasty. Corn casserole, stuffed avocado, fresco bowl were all delicious. The Mac and cheese was standard.This place could use some remodeling however, the rooftop doesn’t really have a view. This could be adjusted by moving the bar area to the other side to allow more people to see the street. Some holes in the stair case, etc. Overall I would definitely order here again.

I've been here twice now and every time I am pleased. These wings taste like a backyard barbecue. Coaltrane's has a pick up window located in the parking lot beside their building or you're more than welcomed to walk an and place an order. This place is just ok. The chicken wings are fine but nothing to write home about. You only get 6 even though it is listed as a pound. The beer was not good, something was wrong with their Catawba beer, it’s either skunked or old or not the beer they say it is. Weirdly enough though, their diet cokes are really good. Tiny rooftop bar which also contributes to the rating. Wouldn’t come again.

Just moved to Plaza Midwood in Charlotte NC and I’ve been dying to try Coaltranes. We went on a Thursday night and they had $4 glasses of wine but I had a 22 ounce beer instead. They only had one server but she was absolutely incredible. We shared a bunch of things including the jalapeño queso, the maple chipotle wings, the flank steak and the chorizo. Each main course came with two sides so we had the corn casserole, the green beans, the mac cheese and a salad. Everything was really delicious. The mac cheese could’ve used a little more flavor. Will definitely try the rotisserie chicken next time.

I love a good set of dry rub wings. This place definitely delivered, not spicy but savory ?. We popped in here for lunch and will definitely be back for more wings. They have healthy bowl options which were okay a bit small in my opinion but tasty none the less. If you order the grilled chicken get it with a sauce or rub otherwise it 'll be bland to the point of disappointment. The drinks werent that good and took a bit longer then expected to get, but our server/bartender was very kind and friendly. She made the experience personable and charming. I 'd stop in again if I 'm around that side of town for sure. View menu
