"I don't enjoy giving negative reviews, but I believe I am being fair with a 3-star rating. The corn off the cob tasted like it came straight from a can with some cheese on top. The tropical guacamole had a very sour mango and was overly spicy for a medium level of heat, and I usually enjoy spicy food. The quesadilla was the standout dish. The pork belly tacos had the hardest pork belly I have ever encountered."

"We started with the sweet and sour cauliflower, which was just as delicious as we remembered, along with some oysters. For my main course, I tried the roasted veggie mole. It was tasty, but I felt it had a bit too much going on with the sauces and flavors. My brother ordered the smoked pork chop, which is a hit if you enjoy smoked foods—definitely a winner every time. My husband and sister-in-law both chose burgers. My husband paired his with truffle fries, which were fantastic—perfectly crisp, not greasy, and just the right amount of truffle flavor without being overpowering. My sister requested steamed broccoli, which turned out to be a bit of a challenge. We asked our waiter about it, and he said he would check, but we didn’t hear back. We then asked the manager to look into it, but still no luck. Finally, just as my sister finished the last bite of her burger, a hostess approached us with a small plate containing a tiny steamed piece of broccoli that she said had been left on the bar. Better late than never! All things considered, they ended up giving us our drinks for free, which was a nice gesture (and good business practice too). The food was enjoyable, and our waiter eventually got it together. Everyone has an off day, and it seemed like this might have been one of them for him. We’ll definitely return to Driftwood; after all, the menu changes frequently, and there are plenty of delicious options to explore."

"Last Sunday, I returned for brunch with a friend. We were the only ones sitting outside, and there were maybe one or two other tables occupied inside at the time. Unfortunately, my meal was cold when it was served again. I ordered the pancake egg tacos, but the pancakes were barely warm, and the eggs were actually cold, almost like they had been chilled. The server was apologetic and took it back to warm it up, but when it came back, it was still barely warm. I’m not sure what the issue was, especially since the restaurant wasn't crowded. I highly recommend dining here for dinner, but unfortunately, I won't be returning for brunch."

"Wow! I can't wait to go back for more! This restaurant offers the most unique dishes, complemented by an impressive drink menu. We started with the tuna sushi, which came with Winton crackers—simply irresistible! Forget the diet; you'll be craving more. My husband enjoyed the onion soup chicken, and now I have to try making it at home. I couldn't resist the mozzarella and tomato dish, but what really stole the show was the duck confit served with chopped olives and roasted garlic. I'll definitely be roasting garlic at home from now on! While it may be a bit pricey, it's worth every single bite. If we're ever back in town, this will definitely be a must-visit. Don’t miss the Brussels sprouts and cauliflower dishes—they're fantastic! The innovative approach to cooking makes it a truly delightful experience for both the palate and the eyes. Enjoy!"

"The restaurant was very noisy to the point of discomfort. The menu was interesting, the food very good, and the service outstanding which makes me uncomfortable not to recommend it, but the noise level overwhelmed its good features. The restaurant has hard surfaces that reflect the noise. The louder the customers were forced to speak, the worse the atmosphere became."
