I absolutely adore this restaurant! They serve the most incredible sandwiches! You have to give the McDowel a try—it's absolutely outstanding!

The roasted chicken here is the best I've ever tasted! The homemade punch is our favorite drink, and the atmosphere is wonderful. We will definitely be returning!

I love this place. The people are so friendly! Food is great too! In LA, finding a community is not easy, but this this place name really reigns through. They ask your name before you order. I like that! I ordered the burger with spicy potato wedges andit was awesome. My wife ordered the grilled cheese and loved it.

As for the food, I tried the Lamb Sandwich. It was delicious on its own—the lamb was tender and flavorful. However, I felt the portion size didn’t justify the price, which was a bit disappointing. The staff here are friendly and very helpful, adding to the positive experience. Parking can be a challenge; you might be lucky enough to find a few spots available nearby.

I’m not sure how I overlooked this restaurant until I was looking for nearby sandwiches, but I’m really glad I found it! The fried chicken sandwich is definitely a highlight and very tasty, but it didn’t impress me as much as the incredibly delicious McDowell sandwich did. Wow… And a quick tip: ignore anyone who suggests the spicy potato wedges. They’re just regular potatoes with a bit of chili paste on top. They might be acceptable at a dive bar or alongside a burrito, but they don’t really suit the ambiance of this place.

This place is very small and doesn't look like your typical sandwich shop, so it's really easy to miss. As I walked in, it resembled more like a small dining area of a home instead of a restaurant. There were glass cabinets filled with plates, bookson shelves, and a air conditioner neat the cashier. Food: I ordered the Lamb sandwich. Just on taste alone, the sandwich wasvery delicious. The lamb was tender and flavorful. I just did not think it was worth the price tag because the portion was waytoo small. Service: The staff here are friendly and helpful. Parking: If you're lucky, you'll find some metered spots infront.

Unfortunately, Community is only open for lunch on weekdays, but their sandwiches are reasonably priced, typically between $10 and $12, especially considering the high quality of the local ingredients used. They are also known for their cakes and desserts, and on weekends, they offer special dinner service, which I have yet to experience. True to its name, the staff at Community make you feel at home and welcome, genuinely asking about your day—a level of warmth that's often missing in other dining venues. View menu
