"Spending time in the Charleston area with family has allowed me to find more of the local gems like the Crab Shack. We chose the Coosaw Creek location on Dorchester Rd. We were not disappointed. Our server was very pleasant, knowledgeable about the menu and made sure we had everything we needed. The food arrived in short order, beginning with the Crab Ball with roumalade appetizer. Lots of crab with just enough breading to hold it together. Excellent flavor! I will definitely be back for more of these! For my entree, I had the Stuffed Flounder, a large portion nicely prepared a lot of crab laden stuffing and topped with a sherry cream sauce. My husband left very satisfied after having the Shrimp and Scallop Casserole with sides of Cole Slaw and Red Rice. Overall, a pleasant atmosphere, good food, and reasonable prices."

Amazing food and service. We ordered the raw oysters, mussels and hot crab and artichoke dip (which was the highlight! We had Kelsey as a server and she was awesome! Can't wait to go back!

I love this place! Not much I like here cause I don't care for most seafood, but fried green tomatoes are good, the hush puppies are good, and the burger is good. I love the atmosphere and the smell.

I absolutely adored this place. My brother suggested dinner there and I'm glad we did. We loved the bucket idea in the middle of the table. It wasn't so messy eating crab legs. The staff were very polite and friendly and the food was amazing! It wasn't very busy for a Sunday afternoon and it was perfect!

Our waitress was very good. She actually took care of another table that wasn't one of hers before she took care of us. But she was very kind and got our food very quickly. The food was delicious and had good portion sizes. We even got three extra oysters to replace one that was questionable! We also got to meet on of the owners and she was very nice. Very good experience.

The service was great. The oysters on the half shell were the freshest I've ever eaten. I got the snow crab and shrimp bowl. Shrimp were huge and very very good. The snow crab was ok. They just needed a little more seasoning but that's a personal preference) The only thing that slightly bothered me was the look of the inside worn and out dated) and the table was a little sticky. I really try to like this place. Second visit, second bad experience. Ordered takeout both times, both times rude service, different bartenders. I had really hoped that the food would make up for it, but it didn't. That she crab soup was thick, lumpy and sweet, tasting and barely any crab. Seriously, sweet crab soup? Gross. Shrimp and scallop pasta flavorless, crab balls were decent, but mostly filler and not much crab. Decent… Not good. Honestly, I would say skip it. If you're looking for good food in Charleston, there are so many other places to choose from don't waste your time at this one.

We decided to give this restaurant a try because it was further out of town and traffic was SO bad, we couldn’t get back into town if we tried. We walked in at about 4:15pm and we’re seated immediately! Our dinner didn’t take too long to prepare, and when we got our meal, we were so excited! I ordered the seafood scampi and it was my favorite meal during our entire trip!! He ordered a crab cake sandwich, I believe. It was HEAVENLY!! Our waitress was very friendly! We split the pecan pie with butter pecan ice cream and it was very, very good. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Charleston!

"Surprisingly impressed, since most wine cheese establishments strike me as being pricey and skimpy on the goods. Not here. The charcuterie board, for those of you in Rio Linda, an assortment of meats, cheeses, artisan bread, olives, fruit, and nuts, came with a honking big loaf of delicious bread. The selected cheese and meat portions were substantial and tasty. The wine pours were generous. Though they were out of our favorite Manchego, there were plenty of other cow's milk, goat's milk and sheep's milk cheeses to choose from. The cured meat selection was impressive, as well as the five different pickled vegetables and assorted nuts/fruits used as garnish. If you're looking for something different in North Charleston, this is definitely the place to visit."

"We stopped by this charming little deli after arriving at the airport. With a five-star rating, we just had to give it a try. We're big fans of Mediterranean cuisine. The gyros were enormous, and the fries were hot, crispy, and absolutely perfect—definitely more than we could finish! The owner is an incredibly friendly guy who greeted everyone with a warm smile. He even treated us to some fresh hummus to enjoy with our meal. I truly hope the locals continue to support this gem."

"Went for brunch wanted steak and eggs however they were out of steak by 1pm. I ordered the fish and grits it had some sort of tomato base on top, flavor a little different than what I'm familiar to in Charleston area. I was given a slices of corn bread that shouldn't have been served. The corn bread looked as if someone had broken the top completely off. It should have never left the back of the house. I didn't mentioned it to the server because I strongly felt it shouldn't have made it to the customer, it was so disappointing. We usually enjoy ourselves at Rose's just minor hiccups today. The customer service was great."

"We celebrated a couple of birthdays here a week or so ago. The table was almost ready for our party when we arrived. Only had to wait a few minutes. Drinks came out pretty fast. Everyone liked their food. This is Italian comfort food in a casual atmosphere. I had the manicotti with a side salad. The blood orange vinaigrette was just too much. It overpowered all the salad components. Several got the ravioli special and really enjoyed it. Hubby got the shrimp pomodoro and he said he liked it. They provided two complimentary desserts for the birthday celebration. The Italian cheesecake was so creamy and delicious. We would probably come back and maybe bring our friends."

"This place makes some (pardon the expression) gosh-darned delicious tacos. My only caution is this: if you get the brisket birria tacos, get two, otherwise you have too much sauce left, and you end up eating the rest of the sauce with a spoon like a crazy person because it's so tasty. Generally a cool vibe inside, though I'm not a fan of loud music when I'm trying to eat and talk to people. They have switched from the Dia De Los Muertos theme to an OG Star Wars theme, which is just alright by me. All of the tacos I tried had a cohesive flavor and never felt like they were just trying too hard. If you're sensitive to spicy food, I would ask if they have milder options, as everything seemed to have a delightful kick. The bar has a decent draught selection, and a mixed drink menu, but I just had beer. The aptly-named Yoda Balls are a must, as well."
