"We were really let down. This place came highly recommend, but we won’t be back. The BLT had three small pieces of bacon. It was very dry and flavorless. Fries were just okay. There were flies everywhere and a very sour smell coming from the back of the building, which didn’t help the atmosphere or our stomachs. The beers were warm — we had to sit outside because of a very long wait time. It’s in a cute area, but the price for what you’re getting (three dry slices of bacon on mediocre bread) is … – show"

This is a fantastic old-school bar and grill. The garlic cheeseburger and fries were exceptional!

Without a doubt, this is the best garlic burger in town. There's really no argument about it. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive.

The experience was fantastic! The garlic burger is massive; we really could have shared just one. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere feels very welcoming—just like home. View menu

This is one of the nicest dive-bars I've ever been to. It might not look like much from the outside, but it's clean, friendly, has a great beer and cocktail selection, and the food is good too. The garlic burger is good, the fries are crispy, and the chili is about on par with Wendy's. The burger patties are slightly thicker than a smash-style burger, so get a double if you're really hungry.

There’s a crazy statistic about over 80% of business failing after two years. What does that say about a place celebrating their 70th anniversary? They have a VERY small menu. Which should tell you one thing: they know what they’re good at and they do it well. I got the single garlic burger which is actually 1&1/3 patties on a fantastic French hoagie roll. Fries are solid. But chips are too! Great bottle selection. Didn’t try a cocktail, but will next time. The coolest part? They literally … – show

"The idea of a Thai fusion brunch spot isn't something you come across every day, so Uncle Jeffi's piqued my interest immediately while searching for a new weekend brunch location. Being owned by the same team behind several successful Thai restaurants in the area made it a must-try! I appreciate their inclusion of traditional Thai dishes, especially with drinks — the Thai Iced Tea I ordered was delicious. The regular menu boasts a wide range from classic American breakfast options to more authentic Thai breakfast dishes. Upon entering, guests are greeted by a chalkboard wall displaying a nice selection of daily specials. We decided to try a few dishes: **Mango Whipped Pancake:** This was one of the specials that day, and as a mango lover, I was eager to order it. It was absolutely delightful, featuring a syrup that had a jelly-like consistency—sweet but not overwhelming. Pairing it with the pancake, whipped cream, and fresh fruit was nothing short of magical! It tasted incredibly fresh, and I really hope it becomes a permanent menu item. **Kow Munn Gai Tord:** This dish, a twist on the traditional Khao Mun Gai Tod, consists of Thai Fried Chicken served with garlic rice. There's also a tofu option available. I thought a scrambled egg would perfectly complement this dish, and it truly did enhance the experience. The combination of the protein, rice, and egg provided a wonderful comfort food sensation, bursting with fantastic flavors! It comes with sweet chili sauce, which I love, but I also added their house hot sauce for an extra kick. It had a similar flavor profile to the sweet chili but with a bit more intensity. **The Stack:** My husband loves breakfast items that come in a big pile, and this dish didn't disappoint. It was a standard American breakfast featuring hashbrowns, eggs, cheese, meat, and topped with additional eggs. He thoroughly enjoyed every bite, along with the side of toast. It's also worth noting that the menu includes numerous vegan and vegetarian options, which I appreciate as a former pescetarian. It's great to see local restaurants thrive, and I truly hope Uncle Jeffi's continues to succeed with their unique offerings. I believe more people should experience what they have to offer!
