Cougar Dave's Food Spirits

The food and service were outstanding. The burgers are incredible, and the waitress was not only friendly but also quite humorous. They have a great selection of large beers on tap.

Decent food! Decent bar atmosphere. Service is meh. The food kinda reminds me of buzz in. The waiter didn't know alot about the alcohol on the menu but she was kind. I would eat here again.

My wife and I visited tonight and decided to try one of the specials. She ordered the prime rib, while I had the salmon. Both dishes were outstanding, and the service was excellent. We dine here frequently and consistently have a wonderful experience.

I was a vendor at the 3 day Huckleberry Festival. I was set up right next to Cougar Dave's and was challenged by the delicious fragrance lofting from CD. At the end of the 3 days i treated myself to lunch at Cougar Dave's. Yes. Delicious. I had a Grilled Portobello sandwich. Excellent.

I had the Bison Burger was absolutely delicious. The garlic fries and onion rings were perfectly cooked golden brown and crunchy just the way I like them. The atmosphere is great here with its western cowboy feel and a fire burning in the corner.If you are ever in McCall or Donnelly Idaho area this place is a must do. View menu

Cougar Dave's is a local restaurant that specializes in being awesome. Their staff is amazing, so friendly and talkative, and quick with everything. Their food is good too, with prices pretty on par with their portion sizes so it works out pretty well. They have a good sized beer menu which always helps too. Fish and chips are delicious and hot buffalo wings are on point.

What an incredible place to dine! By far the best in the area. They were a bit understaffed (which isn’t their fault; not many people want to work these days), yet they maintained a positive attitude and did their best to serve the food promptly. It's absurd how some diners complain about the wait time. As a business owner myself, I truly appreciate the effort they put in! I’ll definitely stop by every time I’m in the area. Thank you!

You'll love this authentic small-town Idaho pub restaurant. It has a great bar to sit at a better draft beer selection than any other place in Valley County (even the famous brew pubs resort bars in nearby McCall).This is our go-to spot for burger night. You'll also have choices of other classic sandwiches, soups, salads entries. The value is spot on you'll be greeted seated ASAP.
