"We decided to give Country Whip a try tonight after hearing mixed reviews. The good news: the clams and shrimp were quite good. However, the bad news was really disappointing. Having grown up on the South Coast and Nantucket, I know fresh fish when I taste it. Unfortunately, the fish I ordered—priced at over $60 for three people—had a strong, unpleasant smell even before we ate. After just one bite at home, my fears were confirmed: the fish was spoiled. Given that they're a seafood restaurant located on the South Coast, they really should be more mindful about serving fresh seafood. We won't be returning."

This place has GREAT ice cream and you get a LOT for what you pay. They have nice sturdy chairs and tables under an overhang outside to sit and enjoy with family and friends. One of our favorite ice cream places!

I’ve been coming here since I was a child, and I drive all the way from Goose to get the best soft coffee—there’s really no competition. I always stick to my usual order, but I might give the highly recommended black celestial vertebrae coffee a try next time.

I had the best burger here last weekend. It was caramelized onions, cheese, and Garlic Mayo. The flavors this had was out of this world! Go try it out. See for yourself. The owners are so pleasant. Visiting is a win win. Nice town to drive on the back roads too. View menu

I highly recommend the cheesy fries, chicken quesadilla, mozzarella sticks, and the grilled cheese sandwich with mozzarella sticks. Every time we've visited, we've had a fantastic experience. The staff is friendly, and the food and homemade ice cream are excellent.

I decided to try something different today instead of my usual twist. I ordered the Purple Bear, which is raspberry ice cream with white chocolate chips and regular chocolate chips. I also got my mom the orange pineapple flavor, and it was really delicious as well. The staff is always friendly, and I consistently have a great experience when I visit. I've been going to The Whip since I was a child.
