We're local and have loved eating at Craven Wings. However, since covid their prices have increased dramatically. We hadn't been in a long time until a week ago. My daughter and i decided to go. We ordered 10 wings, a side salad, a order of fries and 2 drinks. It was 35.00 and change. A 10 piece combo with fries and a drink used to be 10.99. My wings even tasted freezer burnt. My wife ordered regular hot wings, and while the taste was okay, there was nothing different about them that would make us come back again. Plus there was just way too much sauce. On the one hand, providing health insurance to your employees is great. On the other hand, sneaking a 1—3% charge on the bill and requiring patrons to request to remove it is not. Thanks to the owners for making it so I never try their restaurant due to a bad business practice of tacking on hidden fees.
