"Friends of the family that live in North Deltona, highly recommended Papa?s Pizza. They are also vegetarians, so I had to try this place out. I, on the other hand, love meat (pause so I wanted to try a small pizza and wings for my initial introduction. Next time I want to try a hot sub and then maybe a calzone. Papa?s pizza is minutes from the I-4, close to historic downtown Lake Helen off of Main Street, so it?s easy to find. It?s located in a small strip mall with a few other businesses but you can tell Papa?s in the main attraction. Once you enter, you are immediately transported to a cute old-school southern pizza joint. It?s not very large but also not tiny either. There?s adequate seating and even has 1 small arcade machine with a bunch of old-school games, which is a nice addition. I ordered the small (10? chicken bbq pizza. I was offered bacon bits and onions, which sounded good so I obliged. I?m glad I did because the toppings all complimented each other perfectly. It?s a good size, slightly larger than a personal pan pizza. It was crispy and tasted good so I would definitely order it again. I also ordered the boneless wings. Sadly they don?t carry bone-In wings, which I prefer. The breading wasn?t too thick and the meat inside was white. They were rather small and I wasn?t too pleased but it could have been worse. The bbq sauce definitely made them better. As I said I?d like to try other menu items next time but I enjoyed my first experience and Papa?s Pizza might become a new staple of mine."
