Mother’s Day Dinner at The Cuban Cafe. The place is very small, but cozy. The service was awesome. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. View menu

the overall experience was beautiful. I ordered the huevos rancheros that came with tears and drilling. but they were spoiled. I also ordered maduros, and they were delicious! I would go back, but I wasn't super impressed by the drills, so maybe I would order something else. I also had a coco coffee that was an interesting taste. I would probably order a caffe in leche next time.

I visited this restaurant to satisfy my craving for a Cuban sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The sandwich included all the essential ingredients: ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and pork. It was perfectly toasted and accompanied by a delicious salad. The restaurant has a cheerful and vibrant ambiance, and I really enjoyed the music playing in the background. Just a heads-up, they do prefer cash payments.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
