Da'best Damn Breakfast

The breakfast was very good the eggs had cheese with some spicy element to them, the potatoes were fabulous. The service was very good and friendly.

The food was disappointing, and I found a hair in my coffee. I can't recommend this place to anyone. The service was just average, but the interior was relatively clean.

Found this searching Yelp for somewhere to stop for breakfast before heading back to Chesapeake. Little tough to find and first time I used my phone to order but the food was outstanding and customer service was excellent. Will be back. View menu

The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was charming. Everything about the place was pleasant, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best breakfast I’ve ever had. I was hoping for more, especially considering the price. It was decent, but not exceptional.

The atmosphere and the waitress were nice, but the food is not worth the price. The grits were old and lumpy. The oven fried chicken was OLD. When we asked for some new chicken the owner had the audacity to come out and tell us that we ordered oven fried chicken, while rubbing his fingers together trying to explain to us that it's a different texture from fried chicken as if we didn't know that. The issue wasn't the texture the issue was that it was old and you could taste that it was old.Would I go back? Unfortunately, No!

I had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. The space is small but charming, and they do offer outdoor seating. However, the first thing I noticed was the dirty dishes piling up in the sink, and the floor felt sticky. When I ordered, the sausage was rock hard and inedible. The eggs lacked flavor, and the pancakes were burnt—completely charred! There were hardly any customers, so it wasn’t a matter of being overwhelmed. Assuming this place is black owned because of the delicious food and bad business practices. A lot of the black owned places in Richmond have great food, but inconsistent hours, no website (or incorrect/ outdated information on the website) so so customer service. IF you are lucky enough to be able to order from here, it’s great. However, the first time I ordered from here they forgot half of my order. The second time I tried to order, they cancelled my door dash order literally 40 minutes after I placed the order and when I tried to call, no answer. Not surprised. But still is frustrating.

We are from out of town visiting our son and we're looking for a late breakfast. What a hidden (almost literally, as signage is at a minimum in their development) gem. Service is minimal with ordering on line while seated but the menu offers some great options. My husband had a standard egg, sausage potatoes and biscuit and was very happy with his meal. I was a bit more adventurous ordering a Chesapeake omelette with shrimp crab , potatoes and biscuit. It was delicious! The omelette packed some great flavor and heat with the egg cooked nice and tender -tasted great with a bite of potatoes. I definitely would go back and check out some of the interesting offerings here!Inside was comfortable...

A few varied feelings. First off, I hate sit down experiences where you pay and tip before you eat. One side with kids it means I can 't order a backup item for an unruly child without paying again and I 've already tipped if service was not good.So service, it was mediocre. We were checked on one time near the end of the experience and they just said you okay? And then walked away. So not happy with the care.Has a strip mall ambience. Casual, good for kids. They have high chairs and outdoor seating.The cobbler pancakes 4 excellent make and didn 't need syrup. Very impressed. Great flavor.Blueberry pancakes 3 had a homemade vibe.
