I've sampled numerous Mexican restaurants within a 25-mile radius of Upland, and it's clear that nothing comes close to the exceptional quality of this place. Bernavid's unique style and refined techniques in crafting authentic Mexican dishes are unmatched and are sorely missed by the Upland community. "The scenery was very nice even though they were a lot of flies around we had to fight off her food .the server was sweet and she made us feel really comfortable but for the price we pay the food was not good I ordered a medium rare steak and it came out kind of burnt brown on the inside my boyfriend ordered a steak and a came with toppings of mushrooms and onions and a presentation look gross we paid over for our meal and drinks together I’ll never go there again first and last time"

"I found this restaurant on Yelp when I was searching for a Mexican restaurant near my hotel. Wanted to have some good California Mexican food before I headed back to Montana. This place did not disappoint! Everything about this place was awesome! The ambiance, the food, and the service. Our waitress was Tonya sorry if I misspelled that , who was as sweet and accommodating as could be. My friend asked if they had a hotter salsa than the one served with the chips and next thing we know she brought a sample of all of them! They were all delicious! I don't know about anyone else, but everyone I know judges a Mexican restaurant by the chips and salsa that are served. We were not disappointed. So happy, right from the start. Then my tacos came and from the beans, to the rice, to the tacos loaded with carne asada, it was the best Mexican food I've had in years! My friend even plans on recommending to family nearby. I definitely plan to go back the next time I'm there."

"Spicy means indian spicy for Swad...which is great! Ambience is ordinary n regular but makes up with food and portion size, which are awesome. Next visit should be for lunch, cos a hearty meal such as these without an afternoon siesta to follow its not the same.
