"As far as mom and pops goes Dads Stuffings truly embodies where the whole concept originated. A family run business that is a staple in the community serving home-cooked food at affordable prices. Some nights...i just dont have the time (or the will) to cook! But a quick stop at Dads leaves me with a warm inviting shopping experience and eliminates any guilt I might've felt telling my husband and kids I'm not cooking! I've been going to Dad's for over 40 years, and the fresh meat is simply unbeatable. The prepared dishes are fantastic, and they always come up with exciting new options. If you don't believe me, check out the city's best butcher, who just celebrated their 100th anniversary!

Ever since I was introduced to Dad's by my friend Danny, I've been coming back every week for homemade chicken salad, balsamic chicken, baked chicken meatballs and more! Can't go wrong with meatloaf wrapped in bacon. South Philly parking is easy, although getting the minivan backed into the diagonal spots isn't easy. Stop in and say hi to Rich, Carmine and Johnny! They treat you like family which could be good or bad depending if you like your family.

Dad's Stuffing is a great place to get delicious food to take home for dinner. We ordered some of the stuffed meatloaf (the chicken with red peppers and provolone was great, but I also enjoyed the spinach and provolone) and yummy breaded cutlets. The soups were my favorite the pasta fagioli and wedding soup were both incredible and I wish I would have bought more to freeze for later. Looking forward to returning for more, and would absolutely consider them for catering in the future.
