"I stopped in after lunch to try some ice cream. I didn 't realize they also had a lunch menu here as well. Anyway, once I stepped in, I was immediately at the order counter but needed to step to my left to see which ice creams were available in the cooler. Sadly, most of the flavors didn 't have any labels which the lady who helped me noticed, but wasn 't in a rush to solve the problem. I simply chose one of the two with a label and fortunately, it was delicious! I was trying to look at the overhead menu board that changes every few seconds and the ice cream flavors it listed didn 't match the labels either. So, I 'm still not certain if all those flavors are available all the time or only occasionally. But back to my order, I got a single scoop in a bowl of some sort of vanilla ice cream with chocolate swirls and traks or cold reese 's pieces type flavors. Note that regardless of how many actual scoops it takes, they keep adding ice cream until the bowl you select is filled. The ice cream was a little bit crystalized at first, but once the ice cream got just a bit warmer, the texture became smooth and creamy. And the flavor was really good. The price was cheaper than what I pay in Indy for ice cream, so I didn 't mind that there is a .50 charge on credit card orders under 5. I even left a tip and didn 't reach that amount! If I was in the area, I would gladly return to get some more ice cream. Review #2449"

I had a point burger basket, which included burgers, fries, and slaw. I also ordered cheese sticks, but they were so unappetizing that my friend wouldn't even try them. I got a small chocolate malt as well, but it had way too much malt in it. I might give this place another chance before I come back.

Love This Diner! I think the food is okay, but it's the ice cream that keeps me coming back. Growing up in Greensburg, this was the place to go for the best ice cream. The kicker is the unique crunchy sprinkles you can get on top. The inside is no frills, but who needs them when you're eating that cone with sprinkles!?

We ordered our food and were informed it would be delivered when they had a chance. We ended up spending $32 on a soggy sandwich, and my wife received three orders of cold fries. My sandwich was just okay. This restaurant has been a part of our town since my childhood, but it seems to have declined since the original owner passed away. The food is not marvelous, but yet it is good and keeps the locals coming back. They have a couple items that I order repeatedly. Their sloppy Joe has a great flavor. That with a side of crinkle fries is a fab lunch. In the fall winter the owner makes a homemade beef vegetable stew. People come from near far to get it. It's great. I vote them the best milkshakes in town. Just the right thickness flavor. It's a small family owned diner with lots of lunch and ice cream choices.

I just ordered a chocolate milkshake, and rather than make it with chocolate ice cream, it was vanilla with Hershey 's syrup in it. It also was 4.25, until I got out my credit card and then it was going to be an extra .50 because somehow on a 4.25 milkshake there still isn 't enough margin to cover a transaction fee. If your CC processing company is raking you over the coals that bad, switch to square, it 's 3%. Steak 'n Shake makes milkshakes for 3 and manages to leave Hershey 's syrup out of the equation.
