"As always, Dames was not disappointed! We consecrated on Sunday at the resurrection and it was so divine. Great food, great vibes. The host was SPECTACULAR! We had about 35 minutes waiting because it was Easter. That was good because we sat outside in the beautiful cool shade. The place was full. Great sign! We sat at the front window I loved because it was so beautiful out there. The weather was perfect. Everything was perfect. My husband Mom and I enjoyed our time there. We all had the Carolina Cockerel: 3 wings, original Waffle (I had the vegan waffle and babyyyyyyy...delicious) with Mac and cheese. I'll say I'm not a fan of her Mac n cheese. It's something on the Bland side. It's not your typical southern Mac. But we cut it off with sweet tea! I also noticed the slight difference in the menu prices. Whew Chile. My meal alone was 20.00! During the week his cheaper, but hey I did. Worth the visit!"

The food was really good. It took a little longer than I anticipated but the food made up for the wait. I got the chicken and waffles with cheese grits and I really enjoyed the strawberry lemonade mimosa. Would try again next time I’m in town.Food: 5/5

A Sunday Brunch get together! Visiting Raleigh decided to get together! A Beautiful spot and great southern soul food cuisine!!! The waffles unlike any other! The fried chicken to compliment....AMAZING !!! And lastly, the smears (butter toppings) super flavorful!!! Service was great! Highly recommend! And not bad on the budget! Reservation recommended!

So, if we had the lack of customer service from the young lady who was on the front was the first time we came to get a table, everything was great. We had a 30-40 minute waiting time and although the young lady missed the text for some time, they still accommodated us. The chicken was amazing and waffles was very on point!! The second young lady who acted as hostess was really and so was from waitress!!

Had a pleasant visit here. I couldn't stay long, but I got a chance to sit down and get my food. Food came in great timing. Good taste and the menu is easy what I love. I'm a sweet tea fan and it was good. Place looked clean from host came in good timing some places that the host is not where to be found so I sat in a timely way The crew was nice fast service, but it was slow when I came what is even better for me. So, this place used to be great. First, there seem to be more workers sitting around then working. After being seated, it took almost 10 minutes to be greeted by our server. Also, at a place known for waffles, I'd expect s better syrup than what they put in the table. Final straw was when our food came out before our drinks, in record time (which tells me the wings were precooked and only heated). I had to walk put.

Our family has been visiting this restaurant for the past few years, and it never fails to impress! While there is usually a wait on weekends, it's absolutely worth it! The chicken is tender and perfectly seasoned, the waffles have a fantastic texture, and the various shmears and drizzles enhance every dish! Plus, the sides are amazing too! If you're in the Triangle area and craving exceptional chicken and waffles, Dame's is the place to go!

Came in on a Tuesday after driving in from Charlotte. My corporate office is located nearby and my colleagues who live locally were raving about it the week prior so this was my first stop.I brought my mom and toddler along and we tried a few different items. The establishment was nice and service was friendly and fast. The wings were well seasoned and fried hard but not dry. It was perfect. The mac and cheese was tasty but the greens were quite sweet for my liking. My toddler got a waffle and leg which she thoroughly enjoyed.Food was affordable and we will be back again!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOOOOOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!This experience was no different than all of my prior experiences at this location, by way of the atmosphere and food; however, the service I received via my server during this visit made me fall in love with this restaurant even more. Extremely attentive, warm and friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the menu, and willing to go the extra mile by providing samples of the sides (without me requesting it) the server helped make this dining experience enjoyable and desiring future visits!! The food was EXCELLENT (as always), and the server really demonstrated mastery of perfect customer service very intuitive and down to earth!! I was already a continued...

"I love to support local caffes and hopefully find new ones to add my favorite list. we live in durham and have a full of excellent coffee shops with locally roasted beans. when we found ourselves shopping in Morrisville/Cary furniture yesterday, I searched google and found meeple’s close by with excellent reviews. I didn't know this was the board game coffee shop I heard from until I got in. I think that explains the high ratings and popularity, not necessarily the coffee. I admit, the board game spectacle is pretty cool. the reason I give this 2 stars is because 1 the coffee is waaaaay more expensive than any other coffee shop in the triangle; 2 the espresso roast is a bit burned tasting like dieucks, but not terrible; and 3 the service is incredibly slow. I ordered an ice-cold latte with milk. this drink cost me $7 before the drink. for a 16 ounce drink! at the day before I had $6 for the best tasting hafermilch mocha I had in a local coffee shop and it was a 24 oz drink (new world caffe in raleigh.) so the quality doesn’t add to the extravagant cost of espresso drinks at meeple’s when compared to the dozens of other local coffee shops we have visited the these are airport prices! the drink was decent, not the best lavendel latte I had (cloche coffee in durham deserved this title in front of location, the well coffee shop in boston deserves the highest honor), so I admit it for the greatest part, but it was not worth the price tag. the brat wasn't my favorite. it had a bit of a burning taste like dieucks is famous. because I had a lavender latte, it was more subtle, but I could still say that it was roasted in the aftertaste. my man tasted it and was not a fan of espressos, although his favorite drink is a lavender. he only took one and said that was enough. Maybe we're just coffee-snobs, because we're the type that pays $25/lb for 100% cona coffee beans and they're regularly sent to us. I expect the price to be the same as the quality. the service was also very slow. it took 10 minutes to go my icy latte. during this time the girl made only 1 latte and a cup of tea for a few dining rooms. other coffee shops would have scrubbed 10 cups in the same time. the place was busy playing with people games, but don't order coffee drinks. only 2 other customers came in the 10 minutes I waited, and they got their coffee pretty fast as they were cold roast coffees that did not need the espresso machine. so it was not as if they were so busy or with orders secured. there was literally only one in front of me to make one of these objects only a cup of tea that does not require much effort. they had 3 employees, but apparently only this one girl could drink an espresso while the others were busy. the concept is unique and interesting, but I will not return. the price marking did not justify the quality or the lack of this of the small one. I think what they really pay is the experience, not the product."
