"Fucked into a small stripe-like, but should be an Austin legend for 41 years. It has not disappointed and I can't say that for any sub-shop that is on the "best" list for Austin. I have the great Italian deluxe and it is probably 16in and loaded with meat. Definitely value it for the money almost $16. Guy on the counter was the owner and apologised for waiting, but it's gambling day, very sweet man, would definitely recommend this place. I like the hot sauce at Hoody 's better, but a solid sub-shop, I'll be back to test her phillie:"

Delaware had the best cheesesteak in Austin at one time. Not anymore. They now short the meat, veggies and even the cheese. It?s mostly bread. Very disappointing.

My wife and I used to enjoy going for our Philly cheesesteak road trip. I spent over 60 dollars and they ripped me off not giving me what I asked fo,r or paid for. It pains me to say this but Delaware Subs is DEAD! No pride in the work or food.

Known for their Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. It is good, maybe the best in Austin but if they don?t offer whiz to me it?s not the real thing. Staff lacked professionalism/friendliness which makes me think ok these guys are from Philly so that checks a box for sure. I?ll be back for the sandwich again. Jeremy and the other young man was great. My food was hot and fresh. I watch them make my food.... Just made me feeling good to eat something close to the foods in my hometown... I'll be back. I had the cheese steak, meatball and turkey sandwich... Only down side I like my cheese on top of the meat they put it on the bread so that's the bottom, but it was yummy...

Love Delaware Subs' Italian Sub!! Best one I've found in Austin. All their Subs are good, but that's my fave. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is they switched bread. I'm a NYer, and Delaware was my go to for NY style subs. They use Boars Head Cold Cuts which are the best in my opinion. So everything is yummy and fresh. Now there is only one location in Austin so I go when I'm around there.
