"It was a terrific experience visiting this bar. It had such a local feel to it. After driving along the shoreline of Lake Erie in Dunkirk, a few miles up the road, I felt like getting a couple of brews and some chicken wings. And I sure found the right place. When you walk in on the back part, there is a shuffleboard table with a variety of memorabilia on the wall. When you leave that area and keep walking toward the front, you enter the bar area, where there is a handful of spots to sit. So I sat down and had a couple of beers and I asked if the chicken wings were good. And while I always assume that the answer will be yes, we actually got into a discussion about how they always try the batch of chicken wings before they start serving them. I ended up ordering them and I noticed that there was a flavor called Chiavetta's, which is like a creamy Italian flavor. I had never tried this type of sauce before and the waitress said it was pretty good. So I decided to give it a shot. When the wings were served, I ate them and they were wonderful. They were crunchy, meaty, the sauce tasted great, and most importantly, they were fresh. Just terrific wings. If you ever happen to visit this place, certain days of the week they have specials and events, like karaoke, .75 wings and 2 beers. Definitely something to consider. There is also a pool table. Overall, great wings, cold beer, and friendly vibes."

This is a fantastic spot! We discovered it while passing through and were really impressed. The wings are amazing! If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely stop by to eat here.

I waited an hour for my food, even though there were only three occupied tables in the restaurant. When my order finally arrived, the pizza was burnt. The Alfredo sauce had a grainy texture, the wings were rubbery and unappetizing, and the mac and cheese from the kids' menu was more suitable for adults—made with white cheese and breadcrumbs rather than a kid-friendly version. Additionally, the dishes were dirty, and our waitress was terrible; she never came over to check on us. In the end, we decided not to eat anything and left.

On a positive note, the food had a couple of highlights; the "Flying Pig" basket and the signature burger were both quite good. However, the negatives outweighed the positives. The French fries, soft pretzels, chicken fingers, and onion rings were disappointing. They all seemed overcooked in very dirty oil, leaving them with a taste reminiscent of burnt grease. While the prices were quite reasonable, which softened the disappointment a bit, I could see myself returning just for drinks. Beyond that, though, I'm not sure I'd come back for a meal. View menu

The wings are fantastic, and the prices are reasonable, especially on Wednesdays when they’re just 50 cents each. The fries are also delicious. I’ll have to remember to take a picture next time! Our waitress, Johnnie, was wonderful—very hard-working and genuinely engaged with her customers. The restaurant has been updated, is clean, and has a friendly atmosphere. I thought it was cool to see pennies on the floor in the ladies' room. They also have a bar, and there was nice background music playing. Overall, it’s a great atmosphere with very friendly staff.

The restaurant has reopened after being closed due to Covid, and it features a more concise menu with a delightful selection. The food is quite tasty, and I believe their specialties are burgers and wings. The staff is extremely friendly, which adds to the positive experience. The decor is unique, themed around a train depot, complete with a train passing by the front door—very impressive! The atmosphere is enhanced by great music, and there are fun activities like a shuffleboard table and a pool table. The place is also very clean. Although it's slightly off the main path, it's definitely worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed!
