"I stopped in at this establishment to order some of, what I thought was, some of Baltimore’s “best” BBQ. I was mistaken. See, I’m from Texas, where BBQ is done right. This place was mediocre at best. The food lacks both that smoky flavor and the texture of solid BBQ. The meat isn’t juicy at all and was rather dry.The high pricing is another issue. It costs around $17 for a big sandwich. I could feed my entire family back home for that amount of money and do it with my own two hands. The customer service was my MAIN issue here though. My beans were cold, and when I went to go ask for them to be hot, I was met with a scoff and rolling of the eyes by one of the workers. And when they handed me back my now semiheated beans, I think they just put them into a microwave, they were tossed on the counter and almost fell off onto the ground. After that I threw away my food and walk out. Overall a terrible experience in Baltimore and at Booq’s BBQ. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!"

Had a BBQ beef sandwich at Camden Yards on 6/22. My sandwich was cold and gave you one Heinz BBQ pack. I would never recommend this so call BBQ location.

Not what it used to be. Pork was very dry. Roll fell apart. What happened to the good barbecue sauce? One lousey pack of Hines vs. Home made. Will not be going back the next time I visit Camden Yards.

The restaurant experience was extremely disappointing. The prices were exorbitant for the poor quality of the food. The lunchmeat tasted like cheap beef and the roll was dry and crumbly. There was no flavor to speak of. I had high hopes for a delicious BBQ sandwich, but unfortunately, this was not the case. It just goes to show that life is full of disappointments, and this meal was definitely one of them.

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
