Denny's - Menu

I have been going to the Denny's restaurant on Buck Road in the Rossford area for nearly 14 years.

Was in here for supper last night Carrie was my server, she was awesome and really friendly, made me feel very welcome after a tough day.

Unfortunately they are very short staff, one waitress and one cook, that was it. Our waitess was absolutely awesome. She brought us drinks and we told her to go ahead and get caught up, we could wait.She was thankful. We ended up leaving her and the cook a nice tip. View menu

I had a horrible experience at this restaurant. The waitress was terrible, the coffee was cold, and we waited too long to even place an order. My wife and I noticed that the waiters were on their phones instead of taking our order. When we asked about the bill for the coffee, since that was all we had received, the hostess was rude. Another customer confirmed that they had also seen the staff on their phones. I will not be returning to this restaurant and I advise others not to go either.

I decided to bring my son home from university to meet his friends at this restaurant on the first day after school ended for the summer. Despite the sign stating that they were open 24 hours, they were actually closed at 7 o'clock. Even a staff member arrived at around 7:15 and was surprised to find the place locked. I had driven by the day before and didn't see anyone inside around the same time. Another family came and went while we waited, but they also did not enter. I overheard them talking about Bob Evans down the road. Overall, the restaurant seemed reasonable and average, with basic accommodations. It was not my top choice for a healthy breakfast option.

I was at the Denny's on Buck road in Rossford. I think management needs to give these two out standing workers a raise. Selena a server and Michael a cook. Brother and sister.For the work atmosphere they both had to go through today with a smile on their face and tried there best in serving the customers.Two employees walked off the job but two remains.Denny's was out of alot of food inventory and no one to clean the dishes so the server had to pass out coffee cups to go with lids and out of straws and more.Had to tell customers it will be 45 minutes to take their orders. This morning, my group went to a restaurant for breakfast. The waitress instructed us to seat ourselves and mentioned she would bring us menus. However, after waiting for 30 minutes without receiving any menus or service, we felt neglected and frustrated. I attempted to make eye contact with the waitresses to signal my distress, but to no avail. When I finally approached the counter to seek assistance, the waitress admitted she had forgotten about us and suggested that I should have asked for a menu earlier. Came in last night expecting a good experience, and without being dramatic, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences in recent memory. Aside from our waitress Jamie every single person working in that restaurant last night had NO business being anywhere near customers or food for that matter. The people making the food were apparently not cooks we were told, hence the food being grossly undercooked or completely charred… we got served an appetizer dish which had chicken tenders, without being dramatic, one of them genuinely looked like it had a bite taken out of it as seen in the picture attached. I’ve been coming to Denny’s on Buck Rd in Rossford for literally as long as I can remember. The service has always been great and the food… for what you’d expect at a diner like Denny’s… is typically pretty good. We went in tonight, there were maybe 2 other tables in the restaurant. It’s 11pm on the dot when we arrive. The server tells us to pick a table and she’ll be right with us. 40 minutes later we’re waiting for this server to come take our drink order, bring us menus, etc. We know there’s an issue everywhere with staffing right now so we’re not too concerned because sometimes things happen. She comes to get our drink order finally, drops off menus, brings back our drinks, and disappear... View menu
