"Liked this restaurant during my first visit. The food was delicious, especially the shrimp had subtle smoky flavor. I would recommend Chicken Sajji. This dish is simple but has unique sauce over the smoked chicken. Would have give 5 stars but the portion size is too small for the price compared to the other competitors."

"We try to spread it around when dining out...won't be back here. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people come in after me and get served before me. And I'm not talking 2 minutes. 10 minutes after 2 other tables were seated. I suspect our ticket was misplaced?Breakfast never takes 20 minutes to get to the table. Well, not unless all the staff is socializing with regulars or standing outside smoking together. I love walking through a cloud of 2nd hand smoke to get to my car. And then the order didn't come out together.I guess if you're not a regular, you don't matter. It's a shame too, because the food was excellent. Albeit the most expensive Breakfast menu I have seen in a 10 mile radius.And be prepared if you decide to venture in. 4% surcharge for using a debit card.This would be one star had the food not been very good. Service was -4."

"The building finally found its niche. It changed hands several times until the current owner made it work. The restaurant has daily specials that are fast but really good. The nacho special on Friday is a great option for 2 people who are slightly lean on funds. A big nacho with basic toppings for $8.00 plus it's real food and not a burger? Not too bad! The restaurant itself is pretty basic and a throwback to the older Detroit restaurants on Bagley. Inside are old saddles and even a really old piece of great Americana history on one wall which the owners have no idea about! Overall, the environment is basic, relaxed, and clean. It really has the charm of a small family owned Taqueria. I gave it four outta five stars only because the food is always hot, fresh, and delicious but sometimes the dinners could be a little meatier, if meatier makes sense? However, that's an issue in many places and I assume it's a problem with cooks more than the establishment. Besides, 5 stars says perfection and I can't wait to say any place was perfect so 4 outta 5 is pretty good for a little place.Finally, we eat there often enough but tend to use the carry-out menu at least once or twice a month. The staff is really nice and always strive to ensure our orders are perfect."

"My wife mentioned that it was the best cabbage soup she's ever had, and I completely agree! We also tried a couple of breakfast dishes featuring the Dearborn ham, and those homemade southern biscuits and gravy were fantastic. In Taylor, Kentucky, they sure know how to make them! I definitely plan to return for more biscuits and gravy. I also had a double meat patty melt on super rye bread, accompanied by a huge salad topped with deliciously hot, marinated chicken breast chunks. It was quite unique and incredibly tasty. A special shoutout to our waitress, Robin, who filled us in on all the details about the restaurant. Her service was exceptional, and we can't wait to return to try her famous homemade pies—Robin, we promise to save room for dessert next time! The restaurant is a bit hard to spot from the road, as it's located in a strip mall a few doors down from Radio Shack and diagonally across from Walmart. Don't miss it!"

"So this place open over 50 year's I've drove past it 25 plus years hundreds of times thinking it's only a take out Chicken joint. Yeah right a seating area with full waitress service about a dozen booths. Oh way don't they make a jumbo sign,,,, DINING ROOM OPEN,,, well me a solo lunch this place a classic old school full service . and large menu be mucho more than the bird. Great lunch special, great soups and desserts. Had 6 Whole Wings Spicy really good, a big Burger called BIG JOHN holy Wows a double damn Angus patty with Bacon, Mushrooms, Grilled Onions and 2 Cheese American n Swiss OMG folks for a little over 7 bucks a 2/3 pounds Buger will fill your belly with Love. Outrageous delicious lunch Wishbone Salad a version of Greek with marinated Chicken on top only 6 bucks comes with drink n pita bread , plenty to share. We going back to work our way deep into menu."
