"My friend and I took my wife here for her birthday. We met up late so we were hungry! For 5 people, we ordered 5 appetizers, salad and 4 main. For apps we got the 4 dip which came with very thin pita. The consensus favorite was the tzatziki. The eggplant and Tamara (carp roe) were close runner ups. The scordalia was like mashed potatoes... Could skip it. The grilled octopus was ok. A bit burnt for some pieces but at least it wasn't mushy like many other restaurants. The gigades (Lima beans in tomato sauce) was tasty. Good to have with some bread. The loukaniko (Greek sausage) was pretty sizable and flavorful. The Greek salad was alright... Came with a slab of tasty feta. The grilled sardines were exactly what they were. Very lightly battered and bite sized snacks. For the main dishes, my favorite was the shrimp desfina. It was almost like a risotto topped with garlic shrimp. The tenderloin tips were super tender. The crinkle cut fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sea bass was a bit overcooked where the skin was too charred for me and the fish was a bit dry. Lastly we had the mussels chablis. So good with bread. They don't skimp on the portions. The waiter was also phenomenal. He gave us some suggestions, was attentive but not overbearing. He brought out the cake which they sliced up already and sang happy birthday with us. Then when we had some leftover, he didn't even ask if we wanted a box... He just brought it out as if he read our minds.Very good experience!"

A charming little gem! I'm so glad I discovered this place. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the menu offers a fantastic variety of options.

Wonderful lunch! Having passed by the restaurant many times over the year I never had a chance to try until last week. Lamb shank was perfect and it felt like home made food. I would love to try again!

Enjoyed the food. Lentil soup was salty, but fish and gyro were good. Like the fries. They gave bottle water. I'm not sure they offer regular water. They have a parking lot in front of the restaurant with free parking.Food: 4/5 View menu

Great atmosphere and incredible service. The shrimp desfina is amazing, well seasoned. The owner is also really friendly!! A unique, local spot in east Cambridge! Recommend to anyone looking for a good time and good food.Food: 5/5

This fantastic local Greek restaurant offers an authentic menu, a great atmosphere, and friendly staff. I highly recommend the dips and fried calamari as appetizers, and the kebab or gyro plates for dinner. And don’t miss out on the baklava for dessert!

In town for business, and based on reviews, ordered takeout. The grape leaves were soggy, the lamb wasn't cooked the best part of the meal was the worst for you (the fries). Sorry to be negative, but we need to know when we're not at our best. Plenty of other great restaurants via a short drive over to the North End I would recommend that. View menu

We happen to be working nearby and decided to stop in. I got the chicken kabob wrap which was delicious and fresh. My coworker got the baked Lamb with rice and he raved about it it looked like the meat was falling off the bone. This is definitely a walk-up establishment as the only parking I could see was on the street and in the middle of the day during the week there weren't a lot of spots. The pricing is very reasonable and the food is very good quality I would definitely visit here again if I'm in the area and on foot.

Visited Boston after doing a school tour at Worcester Polytechnic nearby with my friend and his family. We had the chicken gyro sandwich, fish chips, chicken wing, and a shrimp dish. All of the food was bad. The gyro had chicken chunks instead of shaved chicken, and the chicken was not marinated. The sandwich had probably 1-2 teaspoons of some type of sauce that tasted vaguely of tahina, perhaps the tahini taste was from my imagination only. The fish was basically fish nuggets and not fish fillets. The wings lacked taste. About the only good food was the complimentary sourdough bread, but that's being generous. The service was impeccable, although the place lacked dine-in customers. Parking...

"Great casual fine dining experience in a quiet Cambridge neighborhood.Took a visit here for dinner on a Saturday night. Its casual and rustic interior blended in perfectly with the atmosphere of the neighborhood, and our servers were very welcoming. We were initially planning to do the tasting menu, but the regular a la carte menu seemed too good to miss. We ended up ordering a bunch from their regular menu which turned out to be the right decision. The optional focaccia and rye bread with sweet scallion butter was an excellent start to the meal. From the appetizers, we had the kohlrabi cabbage, country terrine, and the scallop crudo. Topped with a mélange of earthy and floral ingredients, the scallop crudo was my favorite from the appetizers. Each bite was creamy and flavorful yet inexplicably light. Sprinkled with cranberries and spiced seeds, the kohlrabi and cabbage salad was also delightful. I especially loved the spiced seed toppings which added the right amount of nuttiness and crunchy texture.Saffron bigoli with leeks and clam sofrito had a slightly boring flavor profile, but the pappardelle verde with lamb sugo was phenomenal. I’m usually not a fan of mint toppings, but it managed to become a perfect complement to the lamb sugo. Subsequent 3 entrées were also amazing. Japanese-inspired soy marinated cod was perfectly tenderized, and its delicate texture paired well with the carrots and leeks soaked in dashi. Forking a concoction of chimichurri sauce, garlic purée, and grilled spring onion with tender pieces of beef teres major was also very satisfying. We finished off the meal with the carrot cake sundae and the lemon poppyseed cake. The dessert section lacked refined taste, but we still appreciated their effort to put something unique and interesting. Overall, a really enjoyable dinner experience at a reasonable price. Would definitely come back some day to try their tasting menu.Parking: Street parking available on Huron Ave Concord Ave"

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
