"This is not really a vegan friendly pizza place. While I appreciate that they have Daiya cheese, vegan sausage and one of four crusts is vegan, they charge a premium for non-featured pizzas and nothing featured is vegan. That means you need to build your own with Daiya cheese (it wasn’t Daiya I’m pretty sure), vegan sausage, two veggies and you have yourself a pretty average pizza plus tax and tip. Non-vegans can get a pizza for"

Found this restaurant while on vacation. The Deep Dish Ratatouille was amazing! Already wishing I could go back.

Me and my girlfriend love Chicago Deep Dish Pizza so we hear about this place in DC and we drive 2 and a half hours to try the pizza, the pizza Tastes good but it's not like Chicago Deep Dish Pizza

fresh toppings and vegan cheese that doesn’t taste terrible and actually tastes really good! incredibly delicious mock meat Italian sausage, it’s the best pizza I had as a vegan. achievable seating for wheelchairs and children's cars, very nice restaurant environment. View menu

I discovered this restaurant in Saint Louis and decided to try their DC location. As a math teacher, I was initially excited, but was ultimately disappointed. The restaurant was spacious and our server was attentive, however the decor did not match the name and the food quality was subpar. I do not plan on returning.

we ordered us by e-mail in the morning and came to dinner. obviously they prepare the crust and put the torf on and bake after arriving (which is good because we were too late)! we ordered light on the daiya not huge fans of much processed “cheese”. it was perfect memories of chicago. the schishito paprika are excellent for starters (without ranch)

Vegan options are characterized and there is a good amount of them, pizza and non-pizza. the menu, however, lacks spezialpizzen that have no cheese. if they customize their own pizza, they are warned that they come with cheese by default, so they still need not ask for a cheese, even if they do not get as option! the atmosphere is beautiful. the prizes are okay. I was beyond excited to go here for their vegan deep dish and called to order ahead knowing how long it takes and was told they don’t do call aheads. When I got there and tried ordering the vegan deep dish they said you have to call ahead bc it takes about hours to prep the dough? I was super bummed out. The normal pizza here was good but def not deep dish! #eatingwithshelbie

this pizza place was great! I loved the classic American diner feeling with the red and white tested serviettes. they advised me what they could make vegan, which was the whole thin-based pizza. the deep pan uses butter. they had vegan cheese and meat. the service was great and had sport in the background. served vegan, veg and meat so great for going with a group with different nutritional needs.
