"The restaurant was quite busy, but unfortunately, our food arrived cold. The rice and beans were at room temperature, and the meat in the taco was cold, as if it had just come out of the refrigerator. Additionally, the meat lacked flavor. The service was poor; after waiting for 30 minutes, I had to ask for the bill again. When I finally received the bill and paid with my debit card, it took another 30 minutes for it to be returned to me. I definitely won't be returning."

"We tried this place for the first time, was really excited to see that they had belly dancing but I guess that’s only on Saturday evenings. Anyways was also excited to try Turkish food for the first time. Overall a great experience. Loved the Turkish tea. We ordered the vegetarian borek as the appetizer which was great, and mixed grill platter as the entree which had Chicken shish, lamb shish, kofte, adana and doner. We didn’t quite like the doner and found it to be dry but other than this, everything else was really good. We then tried 4 types of desserts (3 were to-go), kunefe which was excellent, baklava which was excellent, sutlac which was okay and revani which was excellent. Don’t forget to check out the sweet box by the door which has a lot more different types of baklavas looked like. These items weren’t there on the menu so I wish it was there too so we could order it at the table too."

"Beyond amazing service deserves a good review. Today was my first time at D’Amelios, I live an hour away and went to pick up a big tray of scchetini pasta for a gathering. When I got there it was 15 degrees outside and a very polite and charismatic man asked me if I needed anything, and I told him that I was picking up an order. He told me to wait five minutes inside the car and when he came out, he had the tray in a box and nicely wrapped. He insisted for me to stay inside the car because it was too cold, that he would take care of it. Meanwhile he was practically wearing only one sweater! Such a kind person! An then, when we tasted the scchetini pasta, it was DELICIOUS! I swear a lot of us had a second round of pasta! Soo delicious. Looking forward to trying more of their food!"

"My husband had a work meeting here and raved about the food so I was excited to come. We brought our family along with us. We walked in and were stared at by the bartender, didn’t greet us…didn’t smile. We found a waitress who helped us to our seats. The menus we were given were visibly dirty. No drink menu offered. Ordered ginger ale for my son and I, completely flat. The calamari app was good. Then the entrees came. Only 2 of our party finished the meals. After 3 bites I couldn’t continue. There was no seasoning whatsoever to my dish. My mother in law vomited in the bathroom shortly after taking her first few bites. I vomited immediately after leaving. The service overall was cold. No one smiled. No check ups. We saw them say goodnight to every guest that left but us. It’s hard not to feel like out of place there, it’s apparent by the stares we weren’t their usual customers. Needless to say we won’t be back, just off service alone."
