The best quesadilla I've had in Monroe! Got steak quesadilla with Mexican bean dip. Both were excellent. Quesadilla filled with steak Monterey jack cheese. The dip was topped with chorizo, jalapeños, jack cheese. Their salsa was also very good. View menu

So amazing. This place has become a part of my family's weekly routine. Tristian is fanatic, he makes me feel like I am back at home and comfortable. It's the best restaurant in the city, it can't be beat. Thanks Tristian and the entire Don Tomas staff.

Salsa was kinda runny hot, but everything else was great. Prices were more than fair. The amount of food was fantastic. The flavor was great. Service was good also. Fast service. Was not sitting there 7 or so mins when our food came. Food hot and could tell it wasn't reheated . A+

This was our second time dining here, and I can't believe we hadn't tried it sooner. Everything we ordered was delicious. I had the cheese enchiladas, and this is one of the few Mexican restaurants in the area that uses a cheese blend with real stretch, which I really like. Since it was Thursday, they had a two-for-one margarita special, and they were also excellent. We will definitely come back to this restaurant when we're in the mood for good Mexican food. View menu

It's always a challenge to find good, authentic Mexican food. But these folks at Don Tomás have nailed it, and then some. When I first got here, I had to do a double take to make sure the place was open: the windows were dark and the Open sign was off. It didn't help that I was the only car in the parking lot. Appearances can be deceiving! Inside, the hostess was quite friendly. I took a seat at the bar, and ordered the fish taco platter with some guac and a Dos Equis. I got a complimentary plate of nachos and salsa with it. The food was even better than I imagined. Paired with the drink, it was the perfect after-work dinner. Definitely recommend it!
