This place is definitely overrated. I'm a big fan of boba and have tried many different spots, but this was the worst drink and boba I've ever had. I ordered the honeydew milk tea, and it completely fell short of my expectations.

Stopped by for a fruit tea. Always looking for excellent tea. The fruit fusion tea options was plentiful. I was given the suggestion of passion fruit and green apple and it was excellent. The owner was super knowledgeable. Will be back. RIP my wallet lol. View menu

Usually, I go for a Brown Sugar or Caramel Tea with Boba, but this time I decided to try the Taro Milk Blueberry Tea with Boba. The taro flavor stood out clearly from the blueberry sauce or jam that was blended in. I really enjoyed this drink and can’t wait to go back and explore more of their specialty options. I highly recommend visiting Dottea if you're a boba enthusiast!

I come here way too much lol. I used to get the same thing, my mocha frappe which is amazing but I wanted to branch out. I tried the lilac taro coconut latte with Boba, love it, tried the smoothie version but like the latte better. Today I tried the Pina colada smoothie with yogurt popping jelly and holy moly I think this one is the best by far. Still love the mocha frappe for a pick me up. This place rocks.

We found it quite challenging to have a conversation while seated because the person making the drinks was singing and humming loudly. While I understand the intention to create a vibrant atmosphere, it would be thoughtful to lower the volume a bit, especially in such a small space. Unfortunately, my friend ended up discarding her drink, and I had to go elsewhere to find unsweetened green tea to mix with mine. Overall, it was not a great experience. View menu

GREAT! Came for boba, left impressed. We bought taro blueberry, Thai milk tea, and a coffee based boba I can't pronounce. The girls running the shop were helpful, friendly, and kind. There was a group in the back playing cards while drinking boba which made our visit on an otherwise quiet, late Sunday afternoon inviting and lively. The shop is clean and the seating is comfortable. We would definitely drive from Downtown Dallas again for Dot Tea's boba. The taro blueberry was an impulse order and surprise group favorite. Worth the drive!

Came by per a recommendation. The store is a neat, nicely organized smaller interior in a plaza.I got their Strawberry Milk Tea with regular boba since it's part of their summer series and I'm a sucker for strawberry. Overall, I like the creamy consistency and taste! The strawberry isn't overwhelmingly sweet either, though the boba could have been softer in my opinion.Decent boba spot worth a try! This is legitimately my favorite boba place in DFW so far. I've been here a couple of times, but this is one of the first times I've been able to take a picture of my drink without drinking it! I was greeted as soon as I entered the shop. It had some nice and quaint seating, and was very quiet. They also offer food in addition to drinks. From my experience, they have a rotating selection of specialty drinks and these are the ones I generally try. The price point of boba is pretty low-moderate compared to chain bubble tea shops.
