"Has one vegan pizza option but it does not have any vegan cheese. The 2 photos are both with regular cheese so don’t be fooled! Also, the owner is beyond rude to its customers and probably why no one was eating there on a beautiful Saturday evening in summer time I told the owner who is also the waiter and chef, that we are in a bit of a hurry and have to leave in about 30 mins for a gig (that’s why we chose pizza, figured pizza would be the fastest especially the restaurant was not busy at all, there was one other person eating there and it was probably his friend bc he kept going back to his table to chat with him). He rudely told me this is a restaurant and if I want fast food there is Domino a few blocks away and a Wendy’s. Seriously? That’s not how you talk to your customers. I wanted to leave at that point but we didn’t have to time to find another place. So then I told him we are vegan and would like the vegan pizza. He tells me there is no vegan pizza but can make pizza without cheese, ok that’s fine. The pizza actually tasted great, but without vegan cheese u can get it at any pizza shop. Later he stops by our table to make small talk and I ask him why doesn’t he add vegan cheese since there are so many people that have allergies or are lactose intolerant. He tells me: “why don’t u open your own restaurant?!” Basically saying don’t tell me how to run my business. Sure, but I’m a customer and I’m just making a suggestion, don’t have to be rude about it. Thin crust pizza made with love. It is light (easy to digest), flavorful and with fresh ingredients. A pizza to die for. You can smell the amazing pizza from far away and it is worth the waiting (the owner might be slow taking orders from other tables, but then he delivers the best meal).

I had a fantastic meal at Dough Vale. The pizzas we ordered were amazing, bursting with flavor and had a delicious chewy crust with just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The cannolis were also top-notch. Giuseppe, the owner, was incredibly kind and welcoming. We can't wait to visit again soon!
