"The chicken was uncooked and inedible, with a pink and purple color inside. It had a raw smell straight out of the package and the rice was hard and clumpy. It is unacceptable to serve this kind of food to customers, especially from a Jamaican restaurant. I am extremely disappointed in the decline of Dougie's and their disregard for customer satisfaction and health. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. 0 out of 5 rating. 0 stars."

This is the second time ordering the stew chicken and you can smell the burnt chicken thru the bag. Plus they add too much browning making the chicken look extremely too dark View menu

This restaurant serves traditional island cuisine, but unfortunately, the fish and festivals were not up to par. It seems like they fried the fish and served it despite it being spoiled. The festivals were also not enjoyable.

The price keeps going up and the food and containers are getting smaller. I ask the lady to fix my food and they refuse also refuse to give a refund. This is what they gave me as a large food. This is suppose to be a medium and priced as such. I didn’t even want to give it a star but I do like their foods.

I didn't order chicken soup! I ordered Cowfoot soup and a Goat head Soup, neither of which I received. I not please that this restaurant choose to send me what they wanted and not what I ordered. Doordash has to do a better job holding there vendors accountable. Otherwise what are u charging a fee for if not to facilitate a customer receiving a correct order he has payed for! View menu

I placed an order for curry, goat, white rice, extra gravy with plantains on the side along with othe dishes for the family. Extremely dissatisfied when I opened up my tray and found a whole bunch of rice and literally four pieces of goat. To make matters worse I call Dougies, and apparently there was no manager there for assistance . $15 for a plate of rice and gravy. This is why Black people will never succeed. .

I am disappointed to have to give a low rating to this restaurant, despite the cashier being friendly and kind. Unfortunately, my first visit was unpleasant as the food I ordered, the oxtails meal, smelled and tasted burnt when I got it home. The meal consisted of a large portion of soggy rice and peas, 4 boney pieces of oxtail, and a side of raw cabbage salad. It was a terrible experience and I ended up throwing the entire meal away.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
