"I decided to try this place on a whim because of the affordable prices. For what you’d pay for a fast food burger, you can get a slightly better one here. The beer is reasonably priced as well. However, the service left something to be desired; I had to wait about 15 minutes for a second drink after finishing my first, even with only four customers in the restaurant. While the burgers are inexpensive, the sides are a bit pricey—home fries cost $4, and that's without any toppings."

What a great place, it has been there since the 1800's. The owner and staff were so friendly and the place is very clean. I had a pork tenderloin sandwich with onion rings, and it was all great! If you go, check out the grill just to the right of the bar, they still use it.

The kitchen can take awhile if they’re super busy. Won’t impress foodies, but a solid Midwest meal.My only boomer comment: the jukebox is extremely loud!
