"We initially went there for the Walleye, but upon arrival, we discovered that they offer a $7.95 buffet on Wednesdays. The hostess encouraged us to take a look at the buffet before making our decision. It featured fish, chicken, ham, a variety of vegetables, potatoes, and a lovely salad bar—everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was very accommodating, and we had a wonderful experience. I just wish more diners knew about this place! If you're looking for a great meal on a Wednesday night, I highly recommend trying the Driftwood."

Is Driftwood permanently closed? There was a sign on the door stating it would be closed for a couple of weeks, but now the phone number is disconnected.

I was disappointed with the prime rib this time. The au jus tasted more like blood than it usually does, which made the meat not as flavorful as I remember.

I enjoyed the food at this restaurant, and the service from the waitress was excellent. However, the decor could use a refresh, as this place has been around for quite a while. View menu

The breakfast at Driftwood Lounge is excellent, and their prime rib on Saturdays is the best I've ever had. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Definitely worth a visit!

Wonderful prices at this family-run establishment! They have a buffet on Wednesdays and Fridays, as well as a brunch buffet on Sundays. I’m thrilled to come here more often—it’s great to see places like this still thriving. Plus, there’s a bar/lounge area within the venue! The clientele is mostly seniors, and the service is friendly with warm greetings all around! View menu

This is a local restaurant owned by immigrants, and you can really feel the passion in the cooking. The food is consistently delicious. Keep in mind that it's a diner, not a fancy restaurant, so the ambiance isn't anything to rave about. The prime rib is the best in town—no joke! It surpasses both the Corner House and Hob Nob. It's also my go-to spot for liver and onions.

"Always love a good brunch place, and this place delivers! The atmosphere is fabulously farmhouse. Cozy country décor with a great store attached. We went at 11am today Saturday and it was not very busy. By the time we finished our brunch and headed into the store area to get some donuts to take home (insert Homer Simpson sound effect oooo...dooooonuts) it was nearly full. You stop at the counter and pick up a menu then choose your own table. When ready to order, you do so and pay at the counter and get a number to place on your table. A server brings your food out. Our server was just lovely. And OH MY GOSH I just realized we had sat talking for so long after eating that we didn't think to leave a tip. I am SO SORRY! That was not intentional and definitely NOT a reflection of your work. We were distracted and involved in a conversation, and since we paid beforehand we didn't have our wallets out. I feel absolutely ashamed. We will be back and will definitely take care of you. What an a . The food is outstanding. When we came back to our table from ordering there were small plates, utensils, and a basket with two small squares of cornbread and apple butter waiting for us. Delicious! My friend ordered the French Toast, Eggs, and Meat. The toast is apple, which she let me taste, and is amazing. She ordered sausage as her meat and it looks like they make it from scratch. Forgot to ask. She loved all of it, even said the eggs were much better than just the norm. I had the Ham Cheddar Breakfast Sandwich. HUGE. STUFFED. Eggs cooked the way you want, actual sliced ham (no lunch meat nonsense here), and nicely cheesy. And absolutely delicious. We both had the Cheesy Hash Brown Casserole as our side and OH MY. I wanted to take a vat of it home. It was too much food for me so I have half for dinner tonight or brunch tomorrow. We went shopping in the store afterwards to get donuts apple cider for me, and she apple cider for her and strawberry for her mom. Even though I'm full I had to at least try a piece of donut and goodness gracious. So moist. So much flavor. Kind of sad I only bought six. I also got one each of the giant cookies. Tried a piece of the Peanut Butter one and I can tell the M M cookie and the Chocolate Chuck Cookie will be amazing also. Roll me to the couch cuz I'm done. Still upset about the tip situation.? Update: My friend did contact them to get the name of our server and she sent a tip for her, the cashier/hostess, and the cook to split. Feeling better!"
