"We had a great dining experience at Dun Huang last night. The restaurant has a pleasant decor and ambiance, and the staff were friendly. The signature noodle soup was delicious, with a light yet flavorful broth. Following the recommendation of other reviewers, I added chili oil for an extra kick. The fried noodles were also tasty. The spicy fried popcorn chicken was extremely addictive, with both spicy and numbing mala flavors. We opted for the less spicy version, which was still plenty spicy for us. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area."

I come here regularly and their food quality is pretty good. The pricing is a little bit high but you get what you pay for. Their fish dishes are awesome. Excellent location for lunch!

I've eaten here for years now. I come almost once a week. Soup dumplings, lunch specials, extra wide noodles, spicy braised beef, and cold chicken noodle are my recommendationsThe best.

My husband and I dined at this restaurant last night for dinner. Initially, we thought it was a ramen establishment due to its name. We both ordered the beef noodles and the pork dumplings, and they were absolutely delicious. View menu

Great food and service. I enjoyed dining here. I wished though that they still have all the lamb dishes. I get that most people aren't into gamey taste but they are traditional! I specially love the eggplant appetizer and the many spicy beef noodle dishes.

Had a memorable and delicious authentic dry pot Szechuan style, chopped rib tips, juicy soup dumplings and langzho beef noodle. All were cooked to perfection. I Will definitely be going back to try all the other amazing looking traditional dishes. I got that spicy high I often seek and always get after a tasty spicy meal. Follow with plenty of Tsing Tao. Yum ? View menu

Yesterday, my daughter and I went to this restaurant. The food was fantastic and the service was good. We plan on coming back again. I've only been there once before. I had the beef and noodles in spicy broth, while my daughter had wontons in chicken broth. We also shared some scallion pancakes. The food wasn't too salty, which was a positive for me, but it was still delicious.

Pleasant Chinese restaurant across from Pratt. Nothing fancy, casual dining. We had a nice waitress. The guy who brought food out seemed unhappy, almost slamming our dishes on the table. The sichuan fish in broth was flavorful and nicely done. My cold noodles with chicken were a little too dry but not bad. Dumplings in red oil, pretty tasty. Eggplant appetizer, decent flavor but seemed like it was left in the microwave too long ? , basically almost disintegrating when picked up. Definitely seemed precooked.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
