The owner was extremely rude for no reason!

Cori was initially very professional, but then canceled at the last minute, refused to assist in finding a replacement caterer, and wouldn’t refund our deposit. This was really disappointing!

Corianne, the owner of East Coast Catering, was hired to cater our charity fundraiser dinner. However, just a few days before the event, she canceled, sent us impolite emails, and refused to refund any part of our deposit or payment. View menu

The food itself was mediocre and poorly presented. She circulated the room, offering potstickers with soy sauce, but failed to provide guests with napkins or small plates. Due to her rude behavior, she has been banned from future events at the venue where we held our gathering.

We selected this caterer for our event, and everything seemed fine until about a week before the date. The owner, Corianne White, became increasingly rude and agitated, harassing us through email. Her behavior escalated to the point where the police had to be called to our venue.

East Coast Catering did a fantastic job for our wedding in Mystic CT. They were prompt and friendly setting up, and the food was fantastic. We had the antipasto, shrimp cocktail and baked brie. They also put in some bread, which was wonderful. They stayed and cleaned up, and could not have been nicer. I would definitely recommend them to anyone putting on an event in the Northeast. I visited East Coast Catering in the Atrium at 165 State St and was thoroughly impressed by both the food and the service! The staff asked me what I was in the mood for and had my order ready in just 20 minutes. I enjoyed the chicken corn chowder, which was packed with chicken and vegetables in a slightly creamy sauce. I also had the smoked pork tacos, which were absolutely sensational—perfectly spiced, tender pork, and all at a fantastic price! I highly recommend checking this place out for some comforting food at a great value!

Two weeks prior to the event, her emails turned unprofessional, and she confused us with another event. We met with her for a final walkthrough one week before, but prior to our arrival, she began harassing and threatening others at the venue who were not affiliated with us. This led to the police being called, and she was removed from the premises and instructed not to return due to her behavior. During this incident, she became belligerent with us and sent threatening emails afterwards. Corianne White and East Coast Catering ultimately decided to quit on our event, as well as two others scheduled at the venue that week.
