"I suggested this restaurant to my boyfriend because I know it has always been excellent. I've been here before, but this time I was very disappointed. The food took much longer to arrive, and I noticed that other customers who were seated after us received their meals before we did. I understand it was a busy day for Valentine's, but still. The dish my boyfriend ordered was overcooked, and my enchiladas did not look as good as they had on previous visits. Consistency is key to being the best restaurant in town, especially when it comes to food! I will still consider this place as an option because the staff is friendly, but I hope our next experience will be better."

Apart from the food being good the frijoles tasting like my grandma's, and the food served quickly, it's also so aesthetically pleasing inside. A homey feeling with beautiful decorations. I'm definitely coming back here I highly recommend. View menu

The food here is excellent. The service has always been very friendly and attentive. There are tables and booths, plus a nice bar. They also have a large outdoor dining area under a tent. There are lots of good Mexican restaurants around, but most are smaller and don't wait tables or bring you a pitcher of sangria or margaritas.

We learned the hard way that Mexican Mother’s Day coincides with my husband’s birthday. The restaurant was incredibly busy, but they managed to handle it well. We arrived around 6:00 PM and found that about 60% of the tables were filled. By the time we left at 7:30 PM, there were around 15 groups waiting to be seated, and all the tables were still full.

El Agave Azul is a place where food makes you smile. I have been here several times with my family and every single item we habe ordered, has been delicious. A lot of room for service improvement. From the moment we get seated until someone comes to take the drink order, it's been about 20 minutes. You never know who the waiters/waittesses are, more importantly, you never know who your waiter/waitress is.If you have time and want some amazing food, then i highly recommend this place. I opted for the Molcajete, which came with pinto beans and Mexican rice, while my husband enjoyed a Cadillac margarita. I went with an Arnold Palmer to drink, and if that's refreshing and tasty, I know the food must be good. The food was excellent (muy bueno), and the customer service was impressive as well. My husband and I are definitely planning to return for the seafood enchiladas, huevos rancheros, or huevos con nopales. They also serve menudo and pozole on weekends. There are options for both indoor and outdoor patio dining, making it a fun place to visit and enjoy a meal!

The food was surprisingly delicious. I read some of the reviews and was concerned but yet again I'm glad we took a chance. There was a lot of Latinos eating here. That's a good sign when Latinos are eating at a Spanish restaurant. We ordered the Cadillac margarita, it was a fun drink and delicious. I ordered seafood enchiladas with rice and refried beans. They were so good but honestly I wished I ordered chicken or pork enchiladas. I just wanted to try something different. We got nachos and wow they were filling a delicious. Our plates were large. You won't leave hungry, you'll leave with the itis, stuffed. We'll be back.

"I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I have to say I was very disappointed in my dining experience at Adarra. It’s difficult to get a reservation there, so once I was able to, I had extremely high expectations. The drinks were excellent, so no complaints there. The food, however, was not. We ordered the toasted almonds, peppers, cheese plate, tuna belly, anchovy dish, tomato salad, and gnocchi. The almonds and peppers were good, although I have to say they were on the simpler side. The tuna belly made me think I was eating quality tuna from a can soaked in olive oil. That’s the best way I can describe it. It was a bit tough and on the dry side, and I didn’t finish it. I don’t usually eat anchovies since I’m not a fan of the typical fishy taste, but was assured that their version wasn’t fishy at all the way they prepare it. I ate a piece or two but couldn’t finish it. Soaking the anchovies in olive oil did not hide the fishy taste. Some people may like that fishy taste, but I definitely didn’t. The cheese plate was okay. The crackers weren’t anything special, and the amount of cheese was pretty minuscule. The tomato salad was actually the only thing I ordered that was delicious, and the only thing we actually finished. After being at the restaurant for almost two hours, the gnocchi had still not come out. We told our waitress we didn’t want it and decided to leave. I heard so many great things about Adarra and had such high hopes. But after such a disappointing meal that we paid over $200 for, we will not be returning."
