"They claim to have the best margaritas in town. I don't think that is a customer opinion, it must be their own. We got two margaritas a strawberry and lime). The lime came with no salt on the rim and tasted guava or something else. Said it was not lime and sent it back. They gave us another which tasted exactly like the first. Both of them had a chemical after taste. I think they use a powdered mix and it has an artificial sweetener in it. Disgusting. And I think their customers no it because I didn't see one order for a margarita come out while we were there. We only ordered the drinks because they advertise they have white wine but they really don't. Service is pretty bad also. I ordered guacamole as an appetizer and black beans with my dinner. Neither came even with the dinner until I asked for them after hey came with dinner. I think my three star is a generous rating in hind sight."

11/21 Back in town and a revisit here! Delicious Tropical El dish was great! Excellent food! Very generous portions, delicious hot freshness lures! Menu is massive with many possibilities. Fresh tasty salsa. Order quickly picked and served hot and fast. Very clean restaurant and clean toilets. Our waitress was great, nice, attentive, helpful. Very good experience here, highly recommended.

I love Mexican food, it's my favorite, and so far El Agavero is my favorite! They have some of the best food I've ever eaten. The prices are good and they are fast!! I have to update this review. I have since tried multiple Mexican restaurants in and surrounding Mt. Airy and El Agavero is STILL my favorite! This is the absolute best food! The prices has raised a bit but understandable with the economy inflation, but totally worth it, the food is exceptional, the drinks are the bomb baby! and the service top notch. The nicest employees! I love this place!
