"El Camino is an incredible neighborhood treasure, featuring some of the best steak tacos I’ve ever had in the District. However, it’s not just the tacos that impress; their chicken mole is exceptional, served in a generous portion and rich with the complex flavors of mole sauce. The inviting L-shaped bar is always lively, frequented by friendly locals, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bartenders are attentive and skilled, ensuring guests are well looked after, and the drinks are not only tasty but also reasonably priced. Additionally, I couldn’t help but notice the camino steak dish, which had my mouth watering just by looking at it. I can’t wait to try it on my next visit! I highly recommend this place and look forward to making it a regular spot."

By far best Mexican food taste and value in DC. No gimmicky chain like decor to boot.

The rice was a bit bland, but everything else was incredibly flavorful with fantastic texture. The portions were generous for the price, and the staff were all very friendly.

I've visited this restaurant several times lately, and I've consistently been impressed and satisfied. The food is exceptional and consistently meets high standards. The best part is that the prices are reasonable, so for two people, you can enjoy a meal for under $100.

New owners have taken over, and they've introduced an exciting new menu! The guacamole is made fresh to order, and the ceviche is incredibly fresh. The chicken flautas are simply perfect. The bartenders, Angel and William, are both friendly and highly skilled. Don’t miss the special seafood soup—it's absolutely amazing and deserves to be a permanent menu item. Truly phenomenal! The guacamole was fresh and tasty, while the queso fundido was excellent and came in a generous portion. The tacos were the best I've ever had, and coming from South Florida, I've had my fair share of good tacos. My favorites were the chorizo and shrimp tacos. The tres leches was a delightful way to end our meal. The staff was fantastic—extremely attentive and friendly. I’d like to give a special mention to the manager, Marvin, who greeted us with a warm smile. I’ll definitely have to return the next time I’m in DC!

We had dinner in this restaurant with my parents during our trip to Washington. Everything was perfect, both at the level of service and food, which was delicious. We felt that the products were fresh and of good quality, which we enjoyed a lot! Value for money is more than reasonable. The staff was in small care, thanks to this server for having me taste the Mezcal! It was a first I would not forget! I will return with great pleasure when I return to the United States. Don’t hesitate, you can go with your eyes closed! I highly recommend it!
