"A new food truck has arrived in our neighborhood, called El Encanto, but the vendor is Mina Tamales. I'm not sure if they're the same or if the truck is used by different vendors. They do have a Mina Tamales website for convenient pre-ordering, complete with realistic photos of the food, so you know exactly what to expect. We tried the carne asada platter, chicken sope, and chorizo tamale. Everything was incredibly flavorful and delicious! I enjoyed it so much that I went back for a second visit and got two more sopes—beef and chorizo—to save for lunch the next day. At $3.50 each, they're an excellent value with generous portions that are very filling. The carne asada comes with a choice of red or green sauces; if you prefer some heat, go for the green—it has just the right level of spiciness."

This is my favorite food truck. The tamales are amazing! I love the pineapple tamales the most. I always love seeing them parked at my apartment complex, Summit Hills. I wish they were here more often.

Not a fan of their food to be honest! No flavor and tasteless. The staff was rude and extremely unprofessional. I would never recommend getting food from there. They lack customer satisfaction and left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended$

El Encanto Latino came to our neighborhood with their food truck and it was AMAZING!!!! Best food truck of the season! They had such a wonderful variety of handmade foods and their staff was so kind and fast at getting food out! Highly recommend, 10/10!! View menu

Great experience for a first time customer. I had chicken tacos and bean and cheese pupusas. They were both very good and fresh. The red spicy sauce was scrumptiously delicious, as well as the mild sauce. I made two meals out of this treat and looking forward to the next time.

Awesome burrito!! Had a pork burrito; really fantastic! Quesadilla was good. Tamales were ok; not best I've had, but decent (we tried all the varieties; pork and chicken a bit dry and tough; beans/cheese good, as was chorizo). Carne asada dinner was also decent. Nice hot sauce to accompany; red is hot!! Green is mild.

**Taquitos:** The chicken was a bit dry and lacking in flavor. **Pork Tamales:** These seemed pre-made (we understand that serving steaming hot tamales from a truck can be challenging), as the masa was somewhat bland and the tamales crumbled apart as soon as we unwrapped them due to being too dry. **Birria Tacos:** Both the cheesy and non-cheesy versions fell apart, making it difficult to dip them in the consommé. Tacos shouldn’t disintegrate like that. On a positive note, the birria meat and consommé were delicious, and both the mild and hot sauces were enjoyable. We may give them another shot if there are some adjustments. View menu

I would rate this restaurant three and a half stars. We had no issues preordering Mina's Tamales for a neighborhood gathering. The birria tacos were decent; although the tortillas didn’t appear to have been dipped in the consommé fat before frying, they held up well for dipping into the consommé served on the side. The steak quesadilla was fine, but we might skip that protein next time; at least the salad and sour cream complemented the dish nicely, especially with a rich horchata to drink. My favorites of the evening were definitely the tamales we sampled: they were moist, piping hot, and full of flavor. I would gladly order the chorizo and pineapple tamales again, and I’m looking forward t...

This terrific little truck serves legit Mexican street food, with a couple of American crowd pleasers available as well (burrito, cheese steak, french fries...for those just not interested in Mexican street food). El Encanto Latino (also known as Mina's Tamales) is not just a taco truck. In fact the focus here is on tamales, sopes, and quesadillas. Nothing fancy, but it's all made fresh. I can recommend the sopes. If you've never had one, think taco but on a fresh corn based round that's much thicker than a tortilla. Two make for a very satisfying meal. The pork was tender and flavorful, if not terribly juicy (it's sliced, not pulled). I'm eager to try the birria beef next time. You can see...
