Top tier eatery for Mexican cuisine the food is so good and staff is friendly. The best frozen margaritas and drinks. The patio is cute. Super busy but usually seated quickly.

Great little hole in the wall Mexican place. I visit as many as I can all over and this one is a keeper in Nashville. Great staff and small menu but great food! You get an A from us! Con: The lot is small and you may have to park out on the street but it will be worth it! Enjoy!!

It's a quality establishment with great local Mexican cuisine for East Nashville. They have great specials/prices, but the main reason they get five stars from me is they are so busy and not enough staff to keep up. They work extremely hard to serve everyone and the food and drink are always perfect.

Delicious food and a gorgeous patio make this restaurant a fantastic spot. It's both dog- and kid-friendly, while maintaining an intimate and unique atmosphere. The food is top-notch! The bartenders often have a lot on their plates with food orders as well, but they remain professional and courteous. The kid-friendly grassy area is perfect for little ones to run around and have fun.

The food here is subpar at best. I don't understand all the positive reviews. My husband ordered the alambre with steak and I ordered the pupusas. The alambre was not prepared authentically. The steak pieces were too big and it didn't come with bell pepper. And there was barely any cheese on it. The meat itself didn't have much seasoning and there were some tough bits. The pupusas weren't that great either. The cheese completely come out of them and they were too soggy. Don't recommend this place. View menu

We just did search on Google and El Fuego Restaurant came up. We went right by it and looked over, at 2:00 parking lot showed a lot of customers. That being the case, pulled in was greeted promptly, given waters and Waiter introduced himself (Mark), took drink orders, came out quickly I order Mahi Fish Tacos and Wife ordered one crispy beef taco. Everything came out great and the Customer service was the best that we have received in awhile. Only thing I thought that they may consider is cleaning the light covers, but all the rest of restaurant looked very well maintained. Would highly recommend when in the Nashville area.

My husband seeks out authentic Mexican food so we wanted to give this place a try. We were told we could sit outside. We sat there for over 20 minutes without anyone greeting us or bringing us a menu. The longer we sat, the more we looked around and saw how dirty everything was. The bathrooms were disgusting. When we finally got menus, they were dirty, and the inside dining area smelled like a dirty bar rag. The back room where they look to roll silverware was dirty too. The more we saw, the more we felt like we should leave, and so we did. No one was waiting on us anyway, so I doubt we were missed. I’m shocked the health department hasn’t taken a closer look at this place. Yuck !!

Service was terrible and very unprofessional. The server/bartender (guy with shoulder length hair wearing a ball cap never asked about refilling drinks. I was with 2 friends, we all ordered margaritas entrees, then one friend ordered a coke later. He brought it with the cup barely just over half filled (and he’s not even the one who brought our food . Then he brought the check without asking if it was all on one. We asked him to split it and he very reluctantly did. Myself and one friend both tipped OVER 20%, the other friend tipped 11% (because service was lacking in a big way , but we all tipped.
