Skip this place for food. Go to Taco Bell, Rancharitos, Rancho Market, or any one of the various food trucks nearby in Magna Utah. Staff is friendly However if you want a place to sit down for a few beers and a side of something to go with it, then this is your spot.

Excellent! The service was exceptional and friendly. The restaurant had a charming, authentic Mexican atmosphere, and the food was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes at such a reasonable price. Many other places are simply too overpriced these days. I highly recommend it!

This restaurant offers some of the best Mexican food you can find. I travel to Utah every month, and my team consistently chooses El Habanero as our lunch spot. Im not from salt lake but I ate here and the food is ok. I wouldn't call it authentic. It's more like Mexican food for people who are afraid of a real Mexican restaurant experience, and have never had real Mexican food. Nothing wrong with that. The service is awesome. The salsas are weak. There is a place for these type of restaurants. My Mexican family and friends would shun me if I ever took them there.

I had heard positive reviews about this restaurant, so I decided to try it for dinner. Overall, I would say the best aspect was the pricing, which reminded me of early 2000s rates. The food was decent, though I wouldn't consider it the best Mexican cuisine in the valley. However, it's definitely a good value, especially given the portion sizes. The restaurant features classic decor and has ample seating for larger groups. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly our food arrived. Our waitress was friendly and provided prompt service, making for a great dining experience.

El Habanero is a neighborhood treat for Magna. The service is always good, food is always good and consistent in quality and flavor. Ambiance is family oriented, small and quaint. Today I had the shrimp in Diablo sauce, which is spicy and sweet with some corn tortillas. For the price of a few bucks more than the average fast food lunch I got chips and salsa before lunch that come free with every meal and a very nice portion of my meal with rice and beans that will also feed me dinner! So it's a great price for the quality of food and portions you get and it beats fast food any day! View menu
